Well done to the club/solicitors for suggesting this idea.

However, other than this, which is little more than begging, what have the club done to raise funds themselves in the last 14 weeks ?? Why wasn't this suggested 14 weeks ago, to get the embargo lifted sooner and help on the pitch as well as off.

If you put all of our love for WUFC to one side, ask yourself this ... the company loses 50k a year for the last two years and wants to borrow your money ... how is it they are suggesting to pay it back ?? and why are we not going to continue losing vast sums of money for the remainder of the season ??

I just cant see it happening. Im beginning to think there is something we arent being told.

Wasnt this addressed at the meeting (woke up late and felt shyte). I think we need some of those investors who never had all the money to come on board here, i heard that a couple had dosh but not enough for a takeover on their own?

I wasnt there this morning but I have heard what I need to from those that were, as well as the silence I have been hearing for the last 14 weeks.

Would you loan money to a shop losing 50k a year ?? no. So, although we love Welling, if you lend it to them, how will you ever get it back ??

What has changed, what will change ??

Cut the budget to 3k , for a start that saves 1500 a week. then smash all the local area .. all of it homes and businesses to up the gates which could be hard if you are releasing players.

I hope that we will get some infomation about what happened at the meeting. Surely we are not just down to this loan idea. As Kevin said, this was suggested 14 weeks ago and now, when it's too late they finally try.

Too little too late.

And tell me - why would you lend money to a business that has been losing money heavily over the last few years, is still running at a loss, has additional debts on top of this - including more unpaid tax I would guess, and is to be run by the same people who created this mess.

I can't see any way that you would get your money back. I am really disapointed that I have heard nothing about how the club intends to change - why not a share issue? I suspect that they don't want a share issue because that would mean opening up the books and being accountable. I wonder what is being hidden.

If this idea is to work then we need to see a running total of how we are progressing. Sadly I think that if it raises 10k we would be lucky. Hope I am wrong.

Again I hope I am wrong - but the web site is saying nothing about what else is in the offering - unless there is something else, then I think that the 15th will be the end.

I have to concur chelwing ... Hobbins got us into this mess, and sadly they will be the ones turning the lights out on the 15th.
