Could be well worth a listen tonight. You might get some information!

Synopsis of tonight's programme.

Coming up tonight

Is clubs in crisis a fair assessment of tonight's guests? We speak to the Mansfield Chairman about being shut out of their ground, the Welling chairman about their 14 days to live and then there's Windsor and Eton who believe they may have played their last game. All from 9pm tonight.

After the show goes out you can listen again or download The Non League Show podcast for free.

Access to the internet broadcast is via BBC website under Sport/Football/Non League then click on BBC Non-League Show box, then Listen Live.

You can email questions to nonleague@bbc.co.UK

Well done GH - I was at the club to day offering my small loan to the club and it was being sorted whilst I was there, best to say all listen in tonight and we may find out more.

Also although I did not see it fit and proper to ask how much has been raised over the week end (that should left with the solicitor) - I was encouraged and informed by the club that I was not the only one to make a loan today. Fingers crossed

Only thing wrong with that show is its very wishy washy and needs to grow some balls and having the same people on it every week gets tedious.

I only listen when welling are announced as on.

Lets see if they ask any questions that need answering or flirt around the issues treading on eggshells as usual. Or have silly in jokes and awkward giggles.

Well done to Gary H for again getting some coverage for the club though.

Gary,

Can you get the Saturday Sports Team to feature more London non-league coverage, especially when England play on Saturday and there are no games in the top 2 divisions? Choosing, for example, not to give any updates of FA Cup qualifiers while instead focusing on the lower divisions of the Irn-Bru League was and is quite ridiculous.

Cheers

One in the face for other clubs who are screaming about Welling not paying debts.

The club technically CANNOT BE WOUND UP due to its constitution but the club havent claimed this and have not opposed HMRC Winding up petition and have come up with raising money to clear the debt.

Barrie has confirmed the players have been paid to last week, and that one or more supporters rep will be on the board if we get through this, and that the club are already paving the way for this to happen and for supporters to be more involved.

I think the club are acting a million miles better than these clubs that go into admin or cva. Maybe this is why some are bitter? Also these clubs with these big fan bases , how comes they went into cva?

Well done all round. Nice to also see the basic communication on the website has improved no end, so much moeny raised, and PR for the club.

Lets keep it up as and when we survive this, its our club and it can go wherever we want it to.

I couldn't understand the bit about not being a limited company. If that is the case does someone have personal liability for the Club's debts and who would that be?
If supporters succeed in bailing out the Club with loans the lenders should certainly have representation on the management board (as well as the general supporters.) Presumably they will not be directors if it isn't a limited company.
The other thing I find confusing is the statement that current PAYE and VAT are not due until May 2011. Do football clubs operate under different rules to other businesses where PAYE and NI has to be paid over monthly and VAT quarterly with severe penalties for failure to do so? The recent Conference statement about the improvement in member clubs' finances suggests PAYE is required to be paid monthly.

Out of this crisis we may get a club that other teams will want to copy.
