To be sung to the tune of "Mr Sandman......send me a dream"

Mr Taxman, it's not a dream,
We have the money, that you haven't seen,
So turn up Wednesday.....and then you will get it,
No......I'm not joking, we do not like "Cre...dit".

Mr Taxman, we hope your pleased,
We know that we are, now our debt is eased,
We love our football, especially at Well...ing,
You're in a mess......but "Oh were not telling".

Mr Taxman, that's all we've got,
There's no coming back..... "Cos you've had your lot",
Go somewhere else....."You could be lucky",
Just leave us alone..................
"Now that's your lot DUCKIE"

United!!!....United!!!....We'll never be defeated!!!!!!!!!!

Quality Eric. You might have to take the lead as many probably have no idea how Mr Sandman goes. Chordettes 1954

They'll recognise it if they've seen the John Carpenter film Halloween :D

Just a thought, why not just sing Taxman by the Beatles? It's not as if Apple Corp are going to sue anybody :D

Great lyrics Eric.

I think most people must know Mr. Sandman.  Sadly I can remember the original but it was featured in both Halloween and Back To The Future.

Should get some great singing on tape tomorrow. Half time would be a good time, maybe the players will hear you all while in the dressing rooms.

Now come on Judie!! I wrote the lyrics...........now you all do the singing. I have heard some decent vocalists on the terracing.

If I was to sing, everyone would possibly go home, and I would be left watching the second half on my own.

MORE SONG SHEETS WILL BE AVAILABLE.......Please don't let me down!!!!!

How about giving Eric a microphone and a podium before the game to sing the song to the crowd?

Please note:

The 3rd verse of my song, on my earlier post, has since been revised, will you kindly sing the following words.

Mr Taxman,That's all we've got,
There's no coming back, cos you've had your lot,
We won't be beaten, as we are a te...m,
Mr Taxman, IT'S NOT A DRE...AM.

Cheers.

In reply to JGFC, I cannot sing but.......

A few years ago, if you had mentioned a podium and microphone for me, I would have willingly displayed some of my BETTABUYS SPECIAL EDITION WATCHES @ £2 a time, including my 10 year Guarantee (thrown in for nothing), and given everyone a real bargain.

Just ask Matthew Panting.........he reckons it was "the best buy during his lifetime".

PS.
I didn't even charge for the display box, and they cost me a £1 alone.

Mine stopped working after 9 years. The box is still going strong though.
