I take it with it being possible some other teams fans may turn up that this will be segregated on Tuesday? Maybe the police will ask for it to be segregated?

I feel that as a result of this tie some friendship has built up between the two clubs and I think that if there are only Welling and Luton fans there segregation should be unnecessary. However I do take the point that fans of other clubs may turn up who might not be so friendly and if the police feel that this is likely I can understand it if they advise the club to segregate.
It's certainly a big game for us, so let's hope we get a good turnout of Welling United fans to cheer on our lads. We must fancy our chances of winning this one, so the more noise from our fans, the better.
With the possibility of millwall or others turning up and wether 5 or 300 luton turn up, segregation would be prudent. Its not as if we are going to get 4000 in the crowd. No brainer, would be pretty lame if it kicked off to any degree and we thought it will be ok.

This highlights a problem that would have to be solved if ever we were promoted to the Blue Square Premier. Somehow access would have to be made available at the Park End and toilet and refreshment facilities provided so that Welling supporters would not regularly be deprived of the best stand in the ground. Something for the new Supporters Association to look at perhaps in the coming months if we're still in with a chance of the play-offs.
Easiest way is put a footpath in behind the new stand and turnstiles in, obviously we need a few yards from next door but not much at all. Theres no way you can get a path put in the park is there?

I have to say I can't see how you could use the road end without still providing more toilet and refreshment facilities unless people using the new stand had to walk all the way round the ground to get there. Not an easy problem to resolve I think.
