I said at the time if you sell a proven player you need to replace him with at least a good a player. receiving upto 10 grand for Boothy (With Bonuses if they come off) We should have gone and bought someone proven at this level. Kedwell hasnt scored for 4 games if he keeps that up he will draw 32 blanks this season. Pinnock is even less prolific. Sure Stadhart is injured BUT was injured in pre season. Put Simply , the money seems to have  been been stashed from Smithy and Boothy sales and not used to bring in proven replacements. Shearer, Kedwell, Pinnock .. all gambles that may or may not come off. Kedwell is prolific at a lower level as was Paul Jones, Paul Whitmarsh. Its looking though likely that he caqnnot score enough at this level and we have no one else who can either. Get the 10 Grand out and bring in someone PROVEN! before its too late, it cant be a money issue as Ade is published as saying hes reduced the wage bill and is paying CONSIDERABLY less to the new players than he did to the ones he released. This league is widde open act noe not at Christmas when the goals are still hard to come by.

A Proven Striker please ADE, like the one YOU Sold. Penfold??? Good Grief hes proven isnt he, no ones bloody heard of him!

I see what you are saying but its only 3 weeks into the season. Give the forwards a few more games. Agree to a certain extent we never bought a "big" signing with some of the money. Maybe thats still there for Adrian.

I think Shearer showed his worth in the friendlies and once his international clearance finally arrives it won't take him long to resume his partnership with Moore, thereby releasing Perkins to give us options in the midfield.  I have more faith in Kedwell proving himself than Pinnock who reminds me too much of Paul Jones.

With Stadhart out for at least 8 weeks I agree that we need to bring a proven goalscorer at Conference, or Conference South(Old Southern/Ryman Premier) level, even if it is only until Stadhart is fit again.
