An intruiging tie for the Wings...

Oppo Manager in press saying he doesnt care if they lose and sending younger squad tonight. Segregation at PVR for the first time in ages. A bitterly cold night under the lights with all the wings fans together on two sides of the ground for most of it.

First game back home since the club staved off the HMRC.

Lets get everyone there we can and everyone make some noise, get on the refs back and get behind the players from the start. The win money is massive to us and will bring another gate money and chance at more win money and another gate money. a win would help to stabilise the club quicker.

There is commentary on BBC 3 Counties, but turn up... wrap up warm and shout yourself silly to keep warm.

Updates before , at ht and ft from me and i dare say Moo will update through the game.

Can someone please record the comm, if possible. download audacity its free google it.

Right then, off to the match soon. Luton will field a weakened side, the manager couldn't give a toss about the FA Trophy, and i doubt the players are all that bothered either, and we need the money, so we will win, simple as that :)

Starting line up is:
Stewart, Coyle, Obersteller, Day, Andrews, Parkinson, Fazakerley, Clarke, Cumbers, Pires, Healy.

Subs are Johnson, Farrell, Wall and Acheampomg.

No Pugh or Sambrook. I'm guessing that Saturday's knock and lack of match fitness respectively are the causes. Let's hope we have them back for the weekend.

I actually missed the goal in my haste to get my half time tea. I'm told it was cumbers but not sure. It's one nil at half time.

I am listening to the commentary....it is awful......Luton in total control!!!! well obvioulsy apart from their keeper

How many there?? My man at the ground said 550 to 600 with 15 Luton fans

and they are complaining about the "route 1" - hoofing it out, but it's keeping them out of the game and it is legal, although I think we should play more possession football if we are trying to "kill the clock" rather than playing out for another chance at goal.....
