Not the main commentator, but the other guy, the summariser if you can call him that, is SH*T. Our heads have dropped, only one winner etc etc. Doesnt he realise what they have been through this season with a transfer embargo, and we have played 180mins in 48 hours against a team in a higher division. How about the odd positive, like "great effort Welling" even if he cant actually compliment our football.
our boys ran their legs off. 8 mins from a win. Great goal won it . Will upload the goals in a couple of hours. Highlights tomorrow. Would have been abandonded in extra time. Pitch frozen. Heads up boys great effort for the club.

Yup, it must be really hard on the guys, two games in 3 days - on top of all the pressure from the last few weeks. I have to say I think what the fans have done for the club, and how Welling has come through all of this is a tremendous credit to EVERYONE, players, fans, staff - Welling is one tough club, and I'm sure things will get better, now onwards to get the league title!!!!
why play sunday if they made 9 changes . I day rest made a difference. We gave all and then some. Proud of them all. So close and take strength from the two games.

some of lutons fans are a disgrace. Calling our players c@@ts regularly. . Those c@@nts gave your pros two hard games.
I could hear some of the things they were saying from behind the goal. Came across as a bunch of prats to be honest. They act as if they are still playing teams like Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool every week.
All together now '1 chicken korma, there's only 1 chicken korma' :D
I thought Welling played great tonight and gave that bunch of big time charlies a hard fought game. The only reason Luton won is because we got tired and couldn't close their players down quick enough. I'm proud of how Welling have played through all the troubles!
How much would Welling have made from this match?

Really proud of the boys tonight. Actually make that the last week. They fought hard and gave a 'bigger' team a fright. One thing I can't understand though is that we're 10 mins away from the win, and best of all the prize money, and no subs were made to replace two or three of the lads who were tired.
I was thinking that about the subs as well. I was waiting for a couple to come on, and then they scored, and of course still no subs came on. Jamie can't think too much of the players on the bench then can he!
I think We looked like holding on and can understand Jamie holding on to the subs as Luton had made theirs and we could have added fresh legs for extra time. We were great, played some nice stuff and had a go at them, Cant fault Jamie or the players. MAGNIFICENT.
Now rest up and go and batter boreham wood and lets get promoted, youve shown you are good enough and shown you play as a team for each other and the fans and the club.

Missed a massive opportunity tonight. Luton were there for the taking tonight with an inexperinced team. I cant say we didnt play well but we didnt have belief that we could win over both games, plus and rightly so we were knanckered for the last 25 minutes of the 2nd half tonight and we just invited them onto us. Ironic that they couldnt hit a barn door in the first game and they win it with a screamer. Shame to lose in the manner we did but hey ho.
Last point 404 att, nothing short of shameful?????
Also attendance figures for league games take into account season ticket holders whether they turn up or not. Didn't apply tonight. I did think more people would have turned up seeing as we were playing Luton, but never mind i enjoyed the match anyway :)
Not very much I fear. Attendance was 404 which would give gate receipts of approx £2,750 after VAT. With match expenses of possibly £750 to deduct each club would receive £1,000. I reckon your share of the match receipts at Luton will be approx £5,000. Of course, any profit on bar, refreshments, programmes etc tonight will be all yours.
Radio broadcast was totally one sided. I sit just infront of press box and thought I was watching another game. Brought my eldest who was born in Luton and said he would support Luton tonight (to wind me up) and even he thought the commentator was a prat. Think they were fed up as they arrrived late fuffed about for an internet link and were looking for electric point. Ref seemed to have in in for Pires, yellow card when a lot thought the foul was the other way. Plus couple of free kicks against him which I thought were also wrong.
To our players thanks boys you have done us proud this season under a great deal of adversity. Cannot fault any of you for your commitment. Just incase I don't make Boring Wood I hope you all have a great Christmas.

I saw the Diverse FM bloke turn up, and i don't think he was happy that he had to come in via the E&B turnstile, then walk around three quarters of the ground to get to where he could set up his gear :D
The referee was another clueless idiot who has obviously never played a game of football at any level, and doesn't seem to understand that when players are shoulder to shoulder, they are not trying to physically assault each other! When two players are going for the ball and one falls to the ground, it doesn't mean the player still standing committed a foul! Maybe Pires shoulld have fallen over every time a Luton player made physical contact with him.
The Pires booking was a joke and their winner came from a rubbish decision on Cumbers who ruined their full back who fell over, they get a free kick and break upfield, get a corner and score.
Ive watched it back and thought we were the better team upto the last 15 mins and could have gone 2-0 up a couple of times and been given a penalty.
Very unlucky IMHO and they played well and some lovely passing and movement.
Pires MOM for me.

We deserved something last night. We just ran out of legs. Playing full timers twice in just over 48 hours is tough. We also didn't have any one on the bench we could bring on to change things. If Sambrook and Pugh had been fit then I think that would have made the difference as we could have changed it for the last 15 minutes and brought on fresh legs.
In fact if Pugh had been fit I think we could have been 2 or 3 up.
I felt very comfortable (apart from the cold) about holding a 1 nil lead until the last 10 minutes. I thought we bossed 80 minutes.
Disappointing end last night but it just seemed as though the full time/part time issue was the decisive factor as we are out on our feet in the closing stages. No Sambrook or Pugh available (were they rushed back too soon at the weekend?) which basically meant we had no players to bring on towards the end of the game which could have helped us.
After the petition is dismissed I am still concerned about lifting this embargo asap. Weather permitting we will have 4 games in 8 days over the festive period and with our current squad we simply can't cope with that as things stand.
Hats off to Daisy and the lads for what they have achieved so far, The team spirit appears fantastci but this lack of numbers is going to hurt us sooner rather than later.....
If we get any more injuries they'll start asking the fans to play!
Funny that today was supposed to be DDay, but because we sorted out the HMRC money in record breaking time we're all going on about how we could have beaten Luton instead :D This is how it should be at this club!
Yes, imagine how depressed we would have been watching other teams like Dartford have 4 games in 8 days, and us sitting at home knee deep in mince pies and wrapping paper wondering what could have been :D
Don't think that is the case JgFc. I'm almost certain that at Saturday's meeting Barrie said that Conference fules/regulations meant that the embargo wouldn't be lifted till the New Year.
