Having been up on the gantry at Luton and seen their megadosh sports analysis system where they can list all of the free kicks shots corners saves etc etc and do the same by player, then play back at a click or export them to video.. i have had a delve and a play and its FREAKING INSANE.

Ive just tagged the dover video, all you do is watch the game click the buttons and it tags it and clips it.. then you can say .. right i want to export all the highlights in time order.. OR i want to export all Luis Cumbers shots or Fouls committed by Jack Obersteller or Fouls conceded by Jamie day.. Or all bookings/Red Cards

It then lists them and you can watch them all in order.. or it puts them all in a seperate video to burn or playback.

I will have a chat to Daisy and show him... this could be mega...

You can even tag it all LIVE while the game is on (obviously you need a filmer and someone on the lappy tagging it all while its being filmed and streamed onto the laptop live).

Heres a photo below...

I have other software for comparing techniques (shots, kicking, throwing, heading) where you can put them on screen slowmo, change angle, flip them and show against another for comparison and export to a video/dvd/projector.

I am now a geek

Ignore the blur in video above i grabbed it mid frame so it blurred, the picture is perfect.

you can even do all that andy gray b0ll0cks with lines and circles.

Here we have an example of the exported footage. In this case its all events tagged as Luis Cumbers from the home replay with Luton.

I could have exported in many ways EG

Luis Cumbers
Fouls Committed by Luis Cumbers
Fouls Committed by Welling United

The quality of the video is low, but for presentation via projector you could have exported in HD.

You can choose any events you want Fouls, Shots, Saves, Loss of possession, Fee Kicks, Corners etc etc. Then just export what you want. You can also do this for the oppo too if you want. Especially good if you have DVD of their games and you can highlight weaknesses and strengths in advance.

JgFc... Take a bow son

Its very interesting, For Live Coding, a very good laptop and someone tagging while someone is filming means 20 mins after the game the manager can have a Disk of the events or can watch them back on the laptop immediately after the whistle.

I believe that the Premier and Championship teams do this. But in league 2 the only club doing it is Cheltenham Town. Luton do this but only Tag live for say final third attacking, set pieces, shots etc etc. I think they tag the rest like i have after the game and export what they want for the Manager.

I exported 2 examples so heres the second, its a bit longer with more events attributed to the player, all events tagged by Loui Fazakerley in this instance.

From what i can see this lark is really interesting and highly useful as you can quickly review performance (even live if live coding) and the player can see it back and act on what they see or what the Coaches tell them after or during a game.

You also get a library to measure improvement over time.

next thing is to get a beast of a lappy that will take the live coding and export it in seconds, as it is the above clip exported in about 4 minutes so even for the whole team to get their own showreel is an hour this can be done on disk or shared online to a file dump. On a beast of a lappy ,it would be less than that to export it. It can all be viewed back on lappy or streamed to a large screen instantly without delay.

Ive managed to get US/The Club/Me,,,,,

The system that does this , its for sale for 989.95 by the company. So not a bad deal. I've offered to give oppo clubs at away games a brochure and also if i am live coding the game then a look at the system in exchange for the club/us/me getting the system.

My mate does this, essentially, at a top Premier League club, based in the NE and play in red...Becoming more and more wanted by clubs. Might be worht talking to ProZone (if they still exist) as that's who he started with.

Prozone is hundreds of thousands a year to use. Wolves have recently stopped using it to save money.

There are many providers of similar, the good thing with the one we are using now is that it has stats available to export and you can compile dossiers on the oppo man for man.

Some of the cheap ones and some of the expensive ones are rubbish.

Gamebreaker is good but 4k and only for macs. Prozone is the dogs danglies but way way way out of the league of people unless they have 500k budget for analysis.

This one is excellent, can compile videos per event or player or team and have all the stats to hand. Extended highlights from oppo can be fed into it and you can get some stats to hand on strengths and weaknesses.

The easiest way is to export the clips per player or free kicks, corners and upload them to a drop box or webserver for the players or manager to download. Some of the pro clubs do presentations on big screen for the players, obviously easy to do if they are full time players.

I was watching a programme about Swansea and they reckon its vital and they identify weaknesses and put them into their play on match day.

You surely arent calling Sunderland a TOP premier league club... I'm really hoping you mixed up North East and North West...

Havent seen him Mark. Will show him and frosty when we have a game, have already done the Luton home game and had planned on doing a dossier on boreham wood from the match earlier in season.

I dont know anyone who wouldnt be interested in it as the top clubs all seem to think its vital and a big edge.
