The Interim Committe met tonight and the following have been determined: 1. The name will be Welling United Supporters Association 2. The aims of the association have been determined 3. The objectives of the association have been determined 4. There will be a one off joining fee of £5 5. There will be an annual subscription og £10. 6. There will be an open meeting for all those interested in joining the supporters association at 5.30 in the Wings Bar after the Staines game on 8th January when the full constitution will be presented.
In the meantime it is hoped that the aims and objectives of the association will be displayed at the ground and membership forms will be available on Saturday and the aims and objectives will be published on the forum.

There will be little gaggle of us at a stall near the Club shop this Saturday, with the committee's aims, objectives and proposed constitution for your perusal. There will also be membership forms for those wishing to join the Supporters Association. With regards to making minutes available for those not able to make it to meetings, we are keen to be eco-friendly, so would have no problem in emailing them if that is agreeable?
That's true - it is NOT the consitution of the club.
Plus, please note that the proposed aims, objectives and constitution for WUSA that we will have tomorrow are DRAFT COPIES only; we welcome sensible suggestions and constructive comments!

Could the draft constitution or a link to it be posted on here or on the supporters page of the official website? I may be unable to attend the game on the 8th and it would be good if there was some way that those of us who cannot attend the meeting can feedback on it.
As you are aware that members of the interim committee are making themselves available tomorrow. before the game and ? after the game
Over the last 3 days members of the "committee" well - mainy Blondie have been working frantically to put the ideas from around a table onto pen and paper for tomorrow game.
The reason for this - is at the election meeting it was agreed they would report back to fans in an open meeting, This meeting is set for the 8th of January, we feel some constuctive feedback positive or negative on the draft constitution and aims and objectives would be useful, so we can amend accordingly
This is part of the process is important because once we have a confirmed our aims and objectives of The WUSA then the full constitution can be completed and ratified by the membership and an A.G.M and elections can be called.
Also for us to eventually have the constitution ratified we will need members to ratifiy it, therefore we will be issuing membership forms as from tomorrow.
For your infomation we have decided to hold open meetings on the following dates:
17:30 in the bar after home games -
8th january - 5th Feburary - March 11th April 9th
Subject to fixture being played.

If you are able to visit our stand tomorrow then a copy will be readily available for perusal - and eventually a copy of the "Drafts "will be published electronically somewhere -
I hope that by not having it electronically yet on the website does comes across disrespectful, and I apologize in advance if does, but until we had discussed as a committee aims and objectives, we could not progress to write a constitution.
We met on Wednesday thus leaving two days to put together a draft constitution into pen and paper, the draft was completed last night and double checked etc mid afternoon today and I have not had a chance to get feedback from the committee members yet.
Once I have spoken to them tomorrow and digested some of the fans feedback we can then amend accordingly and then put the amended version up electronically.
