The next supporters meeting takes place at the ground after the Staines match on Saturday. The meeting starts at 5.30 and the Interim Committee will be presnting the progress made to date on WUSA, the new supporters association.

Surely we have to be able to provide hospitality for Staines (and any people in the exec lounge whove paid for access to the lounge), I think it may be a league rule about hospitality. So 530 is probably the earliest we can do it.

In my capacity of 'complete and utter idiot' I would just like to give a little feed back on today's supporter's meeting.
First I would like to say well done for arranging the meeting. I would like to follow this up by adding my pleasure of the openess that the committee are trying to give.
Although it came across to me that they have some challenges and need a little direction I feel that all those that have put themselves up for this difficult job have started well.
It can be quite easy to get carried away by suggesting monumentous goals but it was positive to see that they weren't scared of these.
Targets need to be set, but they also need to be achievable and cost efficient.
It was excellent to hear that so many people are interested in joining the WUSA and the attendance this evening was good.
I would like to end by saying that it can be quite easy to question (sometimes negatively) what is trying to be acheived, but together we can make a positive difference to Welling United. So far, so good. Keep up the good work.
Excellent start from the committee and I take my hat off to them. I think it is really important to give all our support to our elected representatives. We need to remember that they are giving up their free time to get this initiative of the ground and are not being paid!!
