What is it based upon?

Careers in football or just for Welling?

Steve "virus boy" Finnan and Andy Townsend if it is the first category.

Burgess, Ransom and maybe even Rambo are shoo-ins if it is just for Welling.

As long as "God" is up front just get the ball to him!!

Remember Del Somers playing for us at Gravesend in the early 80's. Took a great ball from Andy Townsend which left him with a sitter in front of an open goal and duly scuffed it wide. Ah the good old days!!!!

Surely that couldn't have been your stand out memory of him?  He did notch a fair few goals in the period.  Mind you he did have Townsend, Finnan and other quality around him so I reckon I would have notched 20 goals a season in that team.

Do you think he was he better than Rambo?
