The Wings Bar has added Guiness to the range of beers available on tap and the Club are looking into further changes to the range of drinks available.

Great news re Guinness being added, most people will plump for this if a choice is limited.

Lets hope we can pour a shamrock

Talking to someone from Dublin this week on the very same subject, the Guinness brewery used to send out reps to pubs in Ireland to teach the bar staff how to pour a pint and make a shamrock. It did however get to the stage when plastic shamrocks were made to impress into the head.

Many years ago I had a conversation with Graham Hobbins(RIP) about why we did not have Guinness in the bar and he said the volume of beer we sold meant it would not keep. Hopefully we have enough suppers now to make this viable and avoid the cans

The Guinness comes out of cans and is fizzed up on a strange device. There will not be draught stuff.

Not many pubs round here serve a decent pint of Guinness, The Robin Hood And Little John being the exception.

Eltham Hill CIU does a decent one too as I will find out later.

!00% Agree, bad Guinness gives you the trots & gross farts - & that's speaking from experience... no

Love the stuff but not always easy to find a decent pint.
