Marvelous our next home game on 19th clashes with Charltons home game against Exeter and greenwich Council are offering residents who hold a Greenwich Card footy for a fiver. I know Welling is in Bexley but we do get a fair ammount of support from accross the border.
Flyers have been put through the doors in Bexleyheath today stating that all admission to the Charlton v Exeter game on the 19th will be £5. I imagine this is being done over a pretty wide area. Although we have a good relationship with Charlton they have certainly done us no favours here.
It is probably too late for the club to consider switching the game to Sunday so with Maidenhead's very small away support I suspect that unless the club can quickly come up with some counter attraction we could have a very poor attendance.
Imagine what its going to be like when West Ham take over The Olympic Stadium and they reduce all their prices to try and attract 30,000 more fans to watch them, so they can try and fill it.
