I think the only way interest will be increased in this competition would be for the bulk of the games to be played pre-season with perhaps just the semis and final played after the league season starts with these games being played at The Valley or Priestfield depending on the location of the teams.
A Bank Holiday final at Priestfield or The Valley might generate a bit of interest. We had some good days out at Priestfield in the KSC a few years back.
