And here is a video of said incident....streaker was wearing a mankini and Borat wig and was apparently a Dorchester fan - bet he's not popular after causing Dorchester to lose their heads and the match.

What if it was a dog that had got onto the pitch and was jumped on by the player. Would he have been sent off for cruelty to animals?

Probably not, but he would have been arrested if a policeman was present.

In the 1962 World Cup Finals match against Brazil in Chile, a stray dog ran onto the pitch and evaded everyone until Jimmy Greaves managed to capture it. He didn't get sent off but the dog proceeded to pee over his shirt. The Brazilian Garincha thought it was so funny he took the dog home with him as a pet

Sunday night on Talk sport had Andy Goldstein with a feature of "the referee's a Winter" starring Geoff Winter. Every week people would phone up and ask what would happen if, most of them consisted of cows walking on the pitch or moles appearing on the goal line at the time of a free kick.

A favourite of all time was at the point of a free kick if a ghost appeared behind the wall and frightened the goalkeeper and the ball crossed the line would it be allowed. Suprisingly Geoff said yes

As stupid as it is, the rules state that Vickers should get a red card for that .... imagine the Cantona incident ... does that warrant a red-card ?? the Vickers incident isnt really any different.

I seem to recall that Jamie Carragher received a red card for errrr..... returning a coin to the crowd in 1972....

It's quite easily done.

The same thing happened to me back in January 2002 during an FA Cup tie against the Arsenal.
