Congratulations on receiving your very special card. Having one myself has totally changed my life, being able to show your card on public transport and getting free travel is wonderful for all of us in retirement. But make sure that you look after it as getting a replacement can take some considerable time.
Mark, The newsletter was sent out to the email address held on the WUSA database on Tuesday at 15:16. You may like to check your Junk mail/ Spam folder to see if has found its way in there as it was sent as a blind copy in a large group mailing to an undisclosed recipient (Obviously I could not use the group email identity in the 'to' field as I would have been disclosing members email adresses to everyone in the group.)
Have PM'd you with the email address to which the email was sent in case their was a typo in the data entry.

I have read with great interest how many of you received your WUSA membership cards, and I might say, youre all very lucky.
With myself however, I received mine slightly differently.
Whilst out on my escorted walk around the hospital grounds, I received a call from the matron saying I had some visitors waiting for me back at the asylum. As I returned, I found the entire committee of the WUSA lined up all very smartly dressed. Mr Mills then bowed and handed my two membership cards to me on a silver platter. The first one was a platinum card with embossed lettering in gold. The other was a simple, yet practical and cost effective card that had been laminated. I thanked them all and invited them to my ward for tea and cucumber sandwiches. There was a slight problem when they tried to leave, as to be honest, they all fitted in so perfectly with my fellow patients the staff thought they were residents and were reluctant to let them out.
The one special thing I did like about the second card was the advert printed on the back. It read 25% discount on all drinks in the Wings Bar and Executive Lounge when card shown.
As I may stay to watch the FA Cup after our emphatic win over Dorchester Town it may be put to some use.

That is exactly what happened and I fully agree that it is better not to disclose who are members and their e-mail addresses.
I'm glad I have found it as it is very interesting.
