How on earth can James/the Club make such a statement on the Official Welling website. Does this mean that we should ignore the police and the home clubs view that trouble is possible. As Welling United "Must Stress" it is only for safety reasons (WTF??) and we should have no fears travelling , If one of us gets a kicking or gets killed then we can sue Welling United F.C for telling us to travel and there is nothing to worry about!
Someone really needs to oversee that website and a 17 year old could really bring trouble for the club. That statement is stupendous and a throw away comment. Plus it is OFFICIAL.

Poor grammar, Capitals used out of place. "however" why was that word used? At least he didnt use "certainly". Since when has 4-2 been an anihilation?
Must do better Welling, Immature nonsensical editorial litered with errors and incorrect grammar. Maybe an adult can do a better job ? or at least use a Spelling and Grammar checker.
The official site should have he latest commercial events and opportunities. Sponsorship options , i do not see any! Just James selling his DVDs. I think it is not being used for the correct reasons.
Where is the sponsor a goal page? The Advertise here Page?, The coming events Page? The sponsor a player/match or matchball page? The Club prize draw page? The Advertising hoarding page?
It needs to be improved thats for sure as it isnt benefitting the club and if they have (or a sponsor has) paid for it then they are not getting value for money.
For god's sake give the lad a chance. I am frankly pissed off with people who have nothing better to do than criticise. Doing club websites whether it's the official one, WOTW, WIE, WINGS ONLINE, or the other youngster's ones takes time and commitment and we should all be grateful to everyone who takes the time and effort to do it. Yes, the official site isn't perfect yet, but on the whole James has done a good job making the official site at least LOOK good, so lets all take a step back, make constructive criticisms if necessary, or, god forbid, even contribute to it in some way! In the meantime, to quote Brendan Behan, "Critics are like eunuchs in a harem; they know how it's done, they've seen it done every day, but they're unable to do it themselves."
Im a technophobe and registered in less than 1 minute. Failing that just add your name. I suppose you make a fair point in giving him a chance. Having said that James has had a couple of years doing a site so hes harldy a newbie. Blimmin eck just saw you put your name on the above post.
James aint a fan, he doesnt pay to get into games, from whats been said he gets paid to do the website AND he sells the Videos and DVDs , He's just making money out of the Club and the Fans. Add all that to the allegations that recently came to light and you would think he is the bastard son of Hobbit to be in this situation!
The consensus is , if you look around that the Official site is a bit naff , if you are going to pay for it then at least get someone who can do the job! and in any case get someone with slur against them who isnt bleeding the club dry of money when it should be used on the team.
