We are indeed. This Radio Spitfire israther good - far better than Dartford's live commentary.

It aint bad as it happens. Good that we're one up. This is simply a must win game if we want to make the play offs.

Problem is, my internet allowance is used up and i'm only allowed to stream stuff until 4pm. I'm relying on you lot to keep me informed on here of the scores in the 2nd half!

Two nil up now! Not in my wildest dreams would I have thought we'd be two up within 20 minutes. This Wings team has some character.

Quote from Radio Spitfire: "If you are a Welling United fan, you are in heaven."

Indeed we are. I was not expecting this today - I was hoping for a draw at best! Seems like we've caught Eastleigh on an off day...

I love this commentary - I might have to listen to them every week.
Love the way they keep referring to Cumbers as Cumberland, and the way they read out Trigger's message with total seriousness.

Great result ... considering without Andrews, Faz, Coyle and Healy. Well played all.

Best bit, the size of the win ... great for confidence and goal difference, play-offs could come down to goal difference and we're now 12 better off than Eastleigh in that department.

Up the Wings.

Not great results for us today away from our match. Ebbsfleet losing, Braintree drawing and Dover, Farnborough, Chemlsford and Woking winning

Nonsense, we won and won well, and others dropped points, we are better off now than we were this morning. Roll on Tuesday.

I must take my hat off to the presenter/s of Radio-Spitfire.
Helped make my afternoon most enjoyable with their pronounciations of our players and having to carry on with their team falling apart. Enjoyed their reactions to other scores. Proper football people doing a broadcast, superb.

Why's that nonsense Kevin? Of course today was a brilliant result for us, but the results at other grounds could have been more beneficial

They could of yes, but its not exactly the end of the world the way it went ... as I said above, we are better off than we were this morning.

Other results won't matter if we keep winning.

Who cares about other results!

I wouldn't care if we lose every game, but as long as we win the league, I'd be happy.

Huge game and we spanked them, this was one of the vital games against them and we came out and done the business, i couldnt give a toss abvout how other teams did. What a team we have.
Proud of our squad, keep it going.

Superb performance by the team, in particular Pugh and Pires who tormented the defence all afternoon. Ben Martin also played well, looked solid and didn't put a foot wrong. Oh and Daisy's goal was an absolute cracker! Hopefully we can take the momentum into Tuesday's game.

It's great to have a team with heart, and no amount of ability.

When you think of the stresses and strains of this season they are an absolute credit to themselves, Welling and the supporters.

Having been at dagenham yesterday to see another inept performance from Charlton, make sure you tell the players how great they are :)
