Great result and bounce back from disappointment of last saturday. Let's hope we can roll over Websfeet and then beat the rest. Without wanting to tempt fate does anyone know if it would be financially viable for us to go up?
Great day yesterday and a stopover to carry on the evening.
Have to say we wonn hands down but Eastleigh looked a poor side and their position would say they are punching above their weight. maybe it was just an off day but to make 3 subs at onece just inside the second half probably says it all about their performance.
Still great performance and a day of sunshine as well
Our team done us proud again at Eastleigh, and with the supporters banter and their continual singing, it made a really enjoyable afternoon.
Thanks to you all for making an "old man" happy. Lets hope Tuesday night will bring a few extra floating supporters to attend our game. UP THE WINGS!!!!!!
Just to let you all know, you were the better team yesterday and fully deserved the win!
Thanks EFCSPITFIRE,
We have just got back from a stop over on the South Coast & would like to say what a fantastic day it was, & credit must be given to Eastleigh for the being such nice hosts, from the two lovely ladies behind the bar through to the friendly support you have.
All in all, a top day/weekend out, & of coarse Jamie, Ashby, Frosty & the boys where the highlight, in giving us yet another a magical display of football!!!
Here's loking forward to Tueday eve, COYW!!!

I have to agree Eastleigh were one of the friendliest clubs I have visited. Everyone from the stewards to the supporters were very helpful and welcoming. I look forward to returning there next season (if we don't go up).
red bull tossers only want to sponsor extreme sports. Poor marketing, i would bet that they sell more red bull to clubbers and to the high street than they do do muppets with snow boards. A couple of us have tried red bull to come and sponsor Welling but they arent interested.

Agree Eastleigh were very friendly, fair play to them.
Chelwing, How is the hamstrings a day on from your world record train dash??
Never seen a middle age man move so fast!!! ha ha
Very kind of you to mention it Mr Spills. No problems with any part of the body - you may not realise, because i hide it well, but I am a top class athlete.
Those two ladies behind the bar getting a few mentions. I wonder why!!!
Travelled down and arrived just after Andies first goal, to see Wellings away support celebrate was fantastic as I walked in the stadium.
From then on it was one of the best away perfomances I have seen. The back line was solid, mid-field worked to support the defence and then provide passes for our front line who made the best of every oppotuninty.I love watching how clever our mid-field players are, every opposition must dread playing us.
MOTM was Jack Oberstella for me, he was up and down the left touch line like a train and put in some great crosses.
Jamie Day,s goal was a super hit, real skill.
If our support at home was as vocal as when we are away we would be the twelfth man. We could be the difference this season.Im asking for all Welling supporters to let this team know we are behind them all the way. Lets be louder lads.
We know are the best away supporters in this league so lets build on that reputation from here till the final game.
By the way the lovely young ladies who were after grabbing our parrots would be most welcome at PVR on the 29th.
