What a game instore on Tuesday, they will bring loads and be loud. We started superbly at their place then never got a stonewall and we just caved in and went missing. One of only 2 or 3 games where we havent showed up.

I am sure although Daishy will have them fired up that Jamie, Ash, Frosty and Stace will have ours ready to rumble and we can pay Ebbsfleet back and play our normal game.

Bring a friend if you can or someone from work and make lots of noise!!

With our new signings we are a much better side then when we last played Ebbsfleet.
Ben Matin played well on Saturday with Anthony and Im sure he will continue to impress.
He releases Jack Parkinson to stay in mid-field and hold while Lee and Jamie can get foward and make things happen around the box.
I think this has been in Jamies mind, to create more chances for our strikers.

We owe it to ourselves, to show Ebbsfleet we are the play off contenders to fear, after Saturdays result they will be wondering.

Strong support for our lads will make the difference. Lets make em av it.

Once more, loadly and with feeling. COYW

Fair bit of niggle tonight i think, bearing in mind we ask for a date change and they said no, and that they beat us last time and that Daish is an ex Welling Manager, add in the play offs and local derby and it has all the makings of a cracker.

Looking at the other fixtures, tonights game is the game of the season so far.
As JgFc says it will be a vital game for us.

It could be a boring game, but the home support wont allow it.

Looking forward to a great night.

Be interested to see the stewards reaction to our fans tonight. At least one of them is openly an Ebbsfleet fan and some do have hi-vi jackets with GNFC on them.

If the Ebbsfleet drummer is there we could be in for a very noisy evening.  Hope the neighbours don't complain!

Wonder if the stewards will throw the away fans out as quickly as they do at Gravesend....

One nil Ebbsfleet. Whitehouse slipped over going for an easy catch, and the ball went over him into the net.

Ref has been okay so far. Ebbsfleet player just went down like he'd been shot, trying to make out that Clarke had elbowed him. Ref wasn't fooled and didn't take any action against Clarke.

We were the better team for the few minutes prior to the goal; now Ebbsfleet are in control.

Ref still okay - just correctly booked Acheampong for hauling back their striker.

Half time one all.
Dolby not really got involved; might be time to bring on Bellamy.
Whitehouse not as his best.
Obersteller our best defender and attacker.
Ref the best I've seen this season (so far).

think some Ebbsfleet fans need glasses - they were just screaming for a penalty when it was as clear as day that the tackle got the ball and not the player.

Disagree with you there. I think the ref's been fair and missed very little. Certainly got the big decisions right. I may well be proved wrong when I see the video!

PIRES just put a free header wide. Could be our best chance of a win.

Worried about their eyesight again - they were just shouting for a corner and berating the ref for giving a goal kick, when the ball very clearly came off their number 10. I know we're all a bit biased when supporting our teams, but again it was absolutely clear that it was a goal kick.

Great performance from us second half, Loick pushed up front and much more effective as a striker than his midfield role today. Would have taken a draw against Web feet from the start, they are a string side.

Someone needs to kick the life out of their poxy drummer!!

Kent News match report:

The report sounds a pretty fair reflection of the match to me.

Thought Loick had a great game today, 100% effort chasing things down, shame he couldn't get one of them headers on target!

The ref, well he's gotta be colour blind or only be able to see purple. The amount of free kicks against us for pushing to the ones for us for the same offence would probably look like a rugby score 20+ for them and about 3 for us if that. Very poor IMO.

A fair result and without Pugh and Faz I would have been happy with it at the start.
I think both teams will make the play-offs along with Farnborough and Woking.
The next two games will make it or break it for us.  I hope Andy and Faz are available for them.

What a great game of football. Two bloody good teams going at it. Shame about Andy Pugh pulling up in the warm up. Hope it aint too serious. Well done to Ryan Dolby he had a blinder I thought. Once again this squad of players and coaching staff busted their balls for us. They are top quality men. No tarts. No whingers. I cant praise them enough. As for the Ref. He was ok! I have seen a lot lot worse this season.

Great game tonight. I thought a draw was a fair result with both teams being on top in different stages of the game. I thought Dolby started awful but my goodness as the game went on he got better and better, I believe he could be a real match winner for us. My motm though was Ben Martin fantastic defensive display, capped off with a goal as well.

Doesnt get any easier with Chelmsford away this Sat but really we have just got to treat every game as a cup final and see where we end up.

Moo that was the tackle by Sambrook, sensational tackle. i too thought what are Ebbsfleet appealing for. Louis Dennis (On bench tonight) is apparently a striker from Dagenham & Redbridge.

Dolby like Heffernan has sensational sexy feet and will bamboozle teams. We simply must keep this group for next season. How Daisy , Ash, Frosty and Stace find these players i have no idea. Martin looks a colossus and that header was thunderous, thats what has been missing all season, Daisy's delivery cries out for someone to come and bury it.

Are you Daish in disguise?

He was far too busy trying to be touchy feely with the players to be effective, until the last few minutes when Ebbsfleet's 11 finally got his dues.

Great game tonight and thought Ebbsfleet were a very physical but not dirty team. Could have done without some of their players forgetting how to stand up. Their fan with the drum needs a good kickin'.

Welling let Ebbsfleet run the game in the first half, but Jamie must have given one hell of a half time team talk, as Welling totally bossed the pikeys in the second half. Loick had a much better second half as well as Dolby who looks class.

In the second half it was funny hearing a Welling fan asking everytime Ebbsfleet made a substition if Daish had checked his emails to ask if it's ok :D

Nor the player for simulation also a player did it second half again no booking. he also Never booked Marwa for a deliberate handball to stop us breaking and also never booked their player for the foul on Clarke that was late.

Wasnt consistent and booked Daisy for less than Ebbsfleet did, constantly kicking the ball away, often infront of the ref and imho was biased to Ebbsfleet obviously scared of Daish who hammered the officials verbally. I wonder if Daish got to him at half time. He was doing OK in the first half sadly he wasnt fair in the second half at all and did his best to spoil the game.

Just had a look at Webfeets forum. A couple of them comment that they were happy to come away with a point. Mentioned Loicks missed headed chances. I think Loick should spend a little time down the Gym. Bulk up a bit. He would be a real menace if he put on a bit of muscle

The officials were poor - hardly ground breaking news is it.

It has been alluded to on here and in WIE that we don't "play" the officials well enough and last night was a case in point.

Dorchester intimidated them and, to some extent, so did Mr Daish. When there was a break in play at least 3 or 4 Fleet players were always chirping to the referee and none in a red shirt. We got one booking first half after the ref called the player back having been chirped at by the Fleet players. Sorry to say it but if you can't beat them then join them....

A fair result on the balance of play last night. I feared for us in the first 20 minutes but we held on and fought back and probably had the clearer chances - certainly in the second half. Impressed by both Martin and Dolby on their home debuts.
