is there any chance you could introduce away travel being because all the other club do. i reckon if away travel is introduced to the club that more fans will visit. So can u quickly decide if away travel is possible.
Why dont you drive, get a train, or walk .... funny how this has come up 5 games before the end of the season ... where was the away support at the start of the season. Bandwagon.
Heaven forbid that we should try to encourage people to attend matches home or away who haven't been going for at least 10 years.
Whilst it's of no use to me I think the idea of a coach to St Albans and more particularly Braintree is an excellent idea. The more vocal support we can get at these games the better.
I first started going to Welling when I returned home to recover from a serious illness, it happened to be 85-86 and the idea of going to see a Welling team that kept winning seemed like a good one. So I'm in the bandwagon category as well.
To be honest you can't have it both ways. It's in human nature to get annoyed with fans who start to follow a club when they're doing well/get promoted but it's necessary for the club to grow. We need as many fans as possible at the moment and as long as these fans stick around when the inevitable tough times come around it's ultimately beneficial
My guess is that a coach to Braintree would be well supported. The game could be a crucial one and it's a difficult journey by public transport at the best of times. Being Easter there are likely to be less services and there must be the possibility of engineering works affecting the trains.
Barrie arranged a coach to Luton. This game could be even more important. Perhaps it's something the WUSA Committee might suggest.
It could be a good idea to organise a coach, when i looked online the other day at train times from Liverpool Street to Braintree there is engineering works and you have to make 3 or 4 changes and the journey time is over 2 hours. Also as i remember when we played in up there in the FA Cup there is only one train an hour going back to Liverpool Street.
