Best goal, Pires (can't remember who against), on the edge of the area, took the the cross on his chest, and in one fluid movement swivelled his leg round and belted it past the keeper on the volley. Just like Zidane!!

Jamie Day against Eastleigh, took it chest high then volleyed it into top right hand corner.

I was in line with the flight of the ball behind the goal. Skill and composure.

Funniest moment, watching my mate Sean celebrate Luis Cumbers late winner against Chelmsford, he jumped up on the fence at the park end behind the goal, lost his balance and fell onto the pitch, in one movment he came to his scences and lept back again and looked around hoping no one saw it.

The accidental one man pitch invasion you can see on the high lightings. I p!ssed my self.

Not the one where Luis squared it, but the header is from 2 yards into the ground and over . Unfortunately someone stood up as Loick took aim at an open goal when Cumbers put it on a plate for him. Also got a couple of other Loick misses i think. Anyone think of any others?

Couple of good attempts by Sambrook to score the goal of the season, in his own goal! Can't remember the games, but one was a diving header iirc.

Pugh has scored some lovely goals this season. The one that sticks in my mind is away at Staines where he beat three men with ease before sticking it away with his left peg in the bottom corner.

Yeah, not one of my better ideas...biggrin

But hey thats passion for the game (& the Millwall coming out in me) for you even if it was a bit OTP

That **** of a Chelmsford keeper at their place doing an 'airshot' trying to clear but failing, whilst Cumbers runs in to score has to be the funniest moment this season for me.

What about best freekick of the season ? I remember Loick coming on against
Woking at home (I think on his debut) and smashing in a beauty from about 25 yards.Must be up there with some of
Daisy's crackers.

Yes thats right, he had only just come on from of the bench, cant remember how we won the free kick, but he strolled up, I think Jamie had placed the ball, then before any one knew what was going on, including there keeper,Loick struck it sweet as a nut, top left with a bit of turn. I looked around and said, Fock a duck. I think Jamie was in a bit of shook. he just stood for a moment blinking.confused.gif

But just think, we have a few players now capable of match winning brilliance.Lets see some during these run in games.

When it comes to worst tackles, there must be so many, I can remember Louis Frazackerly taking knee high nasty lunges. The thing with Louis is he may go down hurt but he doesnt roll about screaming, and aways wants to get on with his game.

I dont think Tom will have to look far in the high lights to find an example.

Good to think of the best moments now and again, a refection of what a good season our intrepid lads are having.

Will a copy of a dvd be available to purchase?

While Im at it, Jack Parkinson at Dartford took a real nasty one, but once again he doesnt make a fuss and gets on with it.

The behind the goal lads had a hand in that funny moment.

Our supporters can have similar bearing on our run in games.

I hope this has an effect on opposision players, keepers and outfield players alike.

We saw it take away concentration from the Chelmsford comedian.

Lets look for every chance to do it to others.

We know it makes sense.

Whats your funniest Moment

James Pullen's last minute clanger.

Whats the Best Welling Goal you've seen this year

Loiu Fazackerley, home to Maidenhead.  There have been a lot of quality goals this season and, although the quality of Loui's goal was probably no better than some of the ones we've had from Loick, Jamie and Andy Pugh this season, it meant more because it was a late winning goal against a team of thugs.

Whats the worst miss youve seen this year, i think Loick will win this.

Yes, can't see anyone challenging Loick on this one.  The two misses that other people have mentioned are the only real contenders.

Whats the worst tackle youve seen this year.

There have been so many.  I wasn't actually there, but that 'tackle' that the Dorchester player got sent off for when we played them at their place was absolutely shocking.

This will help greatly rather than skim through 30 odd games to find some highlights, lazy much?

Funniest Moment

Chelmsford keepers win hands down for this award. Didn't see Pentney's howler live so Pullen still gets my vote.

Best goal

Haven't seen the best goal yet as that will be the one that wins the play off final. Other than that Pires at home to Stortford and, from the Andy Pugh collection, I like the chip at home against Stalebuns.

Worst miss

I think Mr Pires has this category all to himself.

Worst tackle

There have been plenty of shockers with Faz in particular coming in for a lot of stick. Eastleigh the other week had a few contenders at PVR.

Keep em coming ive already cut loads and probably have forgot some weird moments or bad tackles or bad misses (and i think loick paid the same bloke to stand up when he missed his sitters cos the same blokes down it 3 times and fecked the video!!)

So anything you can remember, bad decisions, dives, **** ups, fights, stick it up for me to jog my memory. Ive probably forgot something major so stick anything you remember from this season up.

Can anyone remember the sambrook header against his own bar that fell down on stella? was it stortford or boreham wood at home? Ive got his header away at Luton where Stewie made a great save.

Anyone remember any great saves from our keepers, ive got stewie at luton x2 and charlie at staines (partly restricted but can see the save fine)

Terrible referee decisions, oppo diving, funny reactions anything just stick it up over the next couple of days then end of week will put it all together.

I know there is two that got blocked, one frm a cumbers pass and one other both at the road end. If i can remember the one where he headed into the ground and over i will put that in. Any other good misses from this year?
