Clarke for me this season. Superb engine, goals galore and working with Daisy has seen us destroy teams. Hope these two play together for the final few games
Despite the tough choice it has to be Stella for me.Ebbsfleet couldn't live with him at our place and I think he could be a key factor if we get them in the playoffs.
I think Steller could play Championship. Hes the best full back ive seen for years in Non League and hes quick and keeps going for 90 mins and works hard and is a danger man going forward he also has only had one or two flat games all season. I would be surprised if the London based League teams arent watching him, hes deffo one of the 5 or 6 we should offer terms to now incase a club come in for him in the summer.
The England C Left back must be a [censored] good player thats all i can say if Stella aint been in the squad.

If anyone of them was named player of the year you couldnt really question it theyve all be superb more often than not.
Good call. Every player has earned the right to the Player of the Year. The whole team have been outstanding given what they have been through this year and should all get a mention.
Shame we couldn't have another catagory for most improved player of the year too.To me, that would be a choice between Clarkey and AA.
I am split between Clarkey and Stella - both solid performers and always give 100%. Tough call to make.

It's precisely because AA is the most improved player this season that he is my player of the season. I wasn't sure about him in the first few games he played, but he's a colossus now, and oppo players looked scared of him at times :D
If it was an option, i would actually vote for the whole team. They are every bit as good as our side in the mid to late 80's.
What is great, is the fact that we all have to actually have to work at picking our respective player of the season. It's not a straight forward decision.
When you think that many players have played out of position; the manager doing two jobs (player & manager), players playing through illness and playing through issues not of their making.
I can't remember the last time I had such a challenge in making my choice.
In my opinion there is a short list of about 15 who could win and I would not argue over any of them.
Im now thinking between Stella and Parky. Parky was first to commit, Played when he was heaving with flu around christmas (as did Sammy and Clarkey and others), has resisted being tapped up by Athletics United when all the off the field crap was going on and has always been positive in the press, plus hes a winner, gives his all and has played out of position all season and captained the team and must have played a part in keeping them as a unit and coming out the other side.
This is so hard, You really can make a case for every one of the regular starters. This will probably be the hardest player of the year EVER at Welling and one that whoever wins it can really look back on with pride and i am sure get a standing ovation never seen before for such a presentation.
