Steve Castle is a decent man, who is doing a good job in a tough environment; he's had players leaving left, right and centre (due to not being paid) and has a team largely made up by untried youngsters. He probably hasn't been paid himself, and finds himself at the foot of the table more than likely through no fault of his own.
He certainly shows a lot more class than the other Steve (King), who needs a few lessons in humility and being graceful in defeat.
St Albans are a decent club, but are being run extremely badly - an example being firms that have advertising hoardings there are not even being invoiced for the cost.
I would guess that this is based on the fact that our management team, despite losing, showed decent manners. Whilst they were hurting inside being gracious in defeat shows style and you never know, one day Jamie may need a favour from Steve Castle.
St Albans FC do have some decent and friendly people working behind the scenes and I hope that things turn around for them.
