We really need a favour from Farnborough tomorrow!
Strangely enough I think we now want Woking to beat Farnborough. If they do it means Braintree are champions before they play us. Looking at Chelmsford and Dover's last two fixtures you would have to fancy them both to pick up six points. This means that regardless of what Woking do we will probably have to pick up six points as well to make the play offs. If Braintree are already promoted they are unlikely to have the same commitment against us as if they still need points. If we pick up six points, it does not matter to us what Woking do. So overall, I think it's come on you Cards (never thought I'd say that).
Maybe, Greendale, but we thought St Albans had nothing to play for!
I think I'd rather Woking not have the points from tomorrow and not be neck and neck with us. Braintree will tough regardless of what their circumstances are.

Gutted. No idea what the penalty was for but they had 10 men and we should have been 2 or so up by then. 1 point from a possible 6 against teams in the bottom 4 does not bode well. Need a BIG result monday now lads. I can't stand another season of where we just miss the play offs again!
I wandered away from the main stand before the penalty incident to be ready for the shop. However my son who was just a few seats away from Alan S confirmed it was for shirt pulling - even though the keeper got the ball easily.
http://www.sicknote.org.uk/bsbs-predictor/ This was posted on the BSBS forum, I make us finishing two points behind Chelmsford and level on points with Dover. Problem with that is that we only have a goal difference of two better than Dover who have St Albans at home on the final day of the season
that linesman is a useless @¤¥# . But andrews is a silly boy if it was him. Ref was decent but the lino has done us up the jacksy good and proper. Will try and get the goal and pen incident up over weekend cant promise. We will hope we go at braintree with 110% cumbers looks injured. Dobler to wear 9 at braintree? He got the guts and skill.
Agree with Alan S and JCFC but the back stop was we never play well against Thurrock and again we caried on the tradition today They had number of chances to score and Bods was always going to be a threat which would minimise Oberstella runs down the wings
Not sure how we are placed now, today I thought a draw and a win would see us though. With games tomorrow I really dont want to have to win against Basingstoke to secure a play off position
Part of the blame for concedeing the equaliser must lay with the lackadaisical front play in Thurrock's half. Just before the awarding of the two free kicks to Thurrock (the last one led to the penalty) in quick succession, we gave away the ball cheaply on each occassion when we really should have either found a team mate or try to win a throw in or corner!
I spoke to Thurrock fans who said the pen was for a lame shirt pull after a more obvious one 2 mins before that. Seems like the ref bottled one then gave a non goer. I also spoke to the ref who confirmed it was for a shirt pull.
Win our last 2 we're in the play offs, get 4 points we're might still be in the play offs.
im gonna watch it now. but cant upload as yam yam broadband is something for the future. might be able to upload something sunday or will upload two highlights after braintree. will say what i see in a bit. still sick but at least we know what we have to do. 2 wins boys.

again so frustrating that a bad decison by a useless linesman/ref who just want to try to make the "big decisons" and make a name for himself(someone said an assessor was there) could have potentially fcked up our playoff chances when after all that has happened this season we deserve them
oh well we'll win on monday and then it wont matter anyway!

A chap claiming to be an assessor requested to park in the ground before 12.30, in addition there was at least one official from the kent F.A present.
Thanks to Friday's attendance figure, our average gate this season in the league is 617. I'm certain we can get more than that for the game against Basingstoke.
Did anyone notice the drunk shaven headed Welling fan in the old stand having drink related problems? He must have been seriously pissed as his head was the same colour as his shirt! He stood up at one point, swung round a post then fell out of the stand :D A security guard had a long chat with him. Later on he stood up then fell sideways onto the floor. I wonder if he remembers anything about the game.

The average attendance figure for the 20 League games so far is actually 647 which is 21% up on last year. If we can reach this figure for the Basingstoke game we will have had our best League attendance figures since 2005/6 and possibly before that.
