One nil to Braintree. Shot rattled the post and they fired in the rebound. That all stemmed from being unable to clear a corner. Acheampong had hacked it away, but everyone was so deep that there was no outlet. __________________

Pires just shot straight at keeper when Pugh was in the middle completely unmarked. Would have been an easy tap in ; might not get a better chance. __________________

We could have had a penalty for handball a few mins ago, but the defender's arm was by his side and it was more ball to arm than anything deliberate.
