Ah I now see the table on the officail site is a predicted final table-we are shown as coming 6th
Its possible if we win, Woking are at Ebbsfleet and should be one point ahead if results stay as they are
ive been keeping an eye on it but it seems off from results - i need to look elsewhere and now have no idea what today's final table will look for us tbh
just pisses me off to be honest and im sorry for repeating myself but this is all that linesman's fault
That linesman was an annoying little turd out to make a name for himself. Well he certainly did that didn't he. I bet he works as a traffic warden!
seriously wouldnt suprise me
im livid at him and he has fcked up a whole season's worth of hard work with one decison that would make him stand out in front of an assessor - if i say what i really think of him ill get banned from the forum!!!
I'm not going to be having a very good end to my week. I'll be going to my Grandads funeral on Thursday, then two days later I'll be seeing Welling play Basingstoke knowing that we might not make the play offs whatever the final result :(
What ever happens Saturday the Boys have done brillant this season with everything stacked against them and are winners in my eyes what ever the result Saturday......
Have a feeling that i will be banned from Saturday game if i am i be in the Guy with everything crossed
All I can say is......Bloody 5 point reduction. It was always going to bite us on the bum! I feel so sorry for the players. It would of all been done and dusted by now. We now have to beat Basingstoke on Saturday and wait for other results to go our way. It shouldn`t have come to this. GUTTED!!

Anyone on here texting from the fans coach? What are people on there saying about our chances of reaching the playoffs? Any comments about a certain linesman?
if chelmsford win they'll be on 77. We beat B'stoke & Ebbs beat Woking leaves us & woking on 75 each with welling having a much better GD to finish 5th.
That lino cost us two points the other day, but even those points wouldn't have guaranteed a play off place. The five points we lost have cost us, but even without that deduction, we've still had ample opportunity to get the points required.
Whatever the results - the squad has done an excellent job, especially with all the obstacles placed in the way!! To be this close (and still mot out of it) given the 5 point deduction clearly shows that the standard of Wings football is EASILY up there with the best of them, no doubt in my mind at least that the Club is Blue Square Premier material.... Jamie and the lads have been awesome this season, and whatever happens I'm sure the "awesomeness" will continue into next season.
