Wingnut i havent seen many if any better than Parky at Center Half and hes also done well as part of a 3 in the middle of the park. My only slight concern is in the middle of 2 playing 4-4-2 but as that was his first season in mens football in midfield you can bet next season he will make the position his own, i dont care where he plays to be honest now, hes a winner and hes Welling through and through and my god we would rather have him playing for us than against us. I wont cry if Daisy brings in a center midfielder and plays Jack at the back though. Win Win all round.

Daisy is only 31 he can play at least 4 years if he wants to, hes still one of the best at this level and we can get a year or two from him when we go up. I got the video at Beaverwood David, where Jacks team won the Kent Youth League, Kent Youth League Cup and Kent Cup treble by humping Crockenhill 6-0.

Great news once this is 100% secured. Lets hope others follow his lead. So close this season, given 5pts back, more experience and no embargo, then next season we can win the league if the current players commit.
Jack is a first class centre half and should be played there.
Corrected for you.
Wingnut, Having seen Jack play at centre half and midfield with the players available for Jamie to select from I would say Jack is excellent in either position.
Having played centre half for more years than was good for my poor old legs, would you agree, among players theres always the old joke... as a defender you always think you would be a better midfielder or striker, as a mid fielder you would be a better defender or striker, as a striker you always slag off every one else for not giving you the ball early enough or the way you want it...usually conceited gits.
The only possition nobody wants and every body slags off is the nutty keeper. But even they are suppressed strikers, and given the chance love to play up front.
I respect your opinion and agree Jack is a first class centre back.
IMO Jack is better than that, he can play where ever selected and would do very well.
I have a sneeky suspicion if he was to be asked to play centre forward the shirt would be off the peg and there would be a fight to get it back.
In any event, I for one will go and pay to watch him play for Welling in what ever position Jamie selects him for, and just know I will see a good player give all hes got for the team.
The first to show loyalty and commitment as far as we are aware, as always a true strong character.
I agree that Jack is a big asset to the club and to get your captain to sign up early is good business and sends out the right message to the other players.
I have no doubt he can go on to bigger and better things and hopefully that process will continue at Welling in the short term.
Also, on the odd occasion when I have spoken with him, he is a genuine bloke who always has time for the supporters (as do most of this group to be fair)
Brilliant from him as i hear from other supporters that there were other clubs in for him as well.
Wingnut totally agree, i have spoken to him a few times and allways has time to speak to the supports and seems a really nice lad, i believe his still only 21/22 as well, seems to have a great future ahead of him.
At the risk of being controversial there are about 5 or 6 other players IMO that are better than Parkinson. He is good but is prone to making sloppy mistakes which he will need to cut out if he wants to progress to the football league.
