That says that we have 11 players signed up. I think we know 8 of them. Any ideas on the other 3?

I am guessing that some players might have been "signed up" but on non contract terms as many clubs do to give them some flexibility.

I think the spine of the team looks quite strong already. I am more concerned with getting a keeper in and one or two to be added in wide areas.

Kev, i read it the same. After all Daisy was in press saying he wants to stay, he told the fans he wanted to stay and he was signing our players up at the time.

If Daisy had gone for it, he would have beaten Dev to the post, end of story. I see it as Braintree throwing his name in the ring. Would be interesting if Matt or Paul can pick up on this to get Daisys side now that Braintree have published he was a candidate via the press or the press have made it up.

A Chelmsford supporter on the Conference South forum said that he had applied last week. I scoffed at the possibility but maybe he did make enquiries as a back-up before tha news that the tax issue was solved came out and Braintree have taken that as an application.
