After over 6 great years as Web Editor of the official Web site I have decided to stand down.

I shall still be supporting the Wings and attending as many games as I can home and away.

But due to other commitments I cannot dedicate enough time to ensure the site remains of a standard that the club deserves.

I've posted a full statement on the Official Website here http://www.wellingunited.com/newsitems.php?subaction=showfull&id=1306771850&archive=&start_from=&ucat=14&

A big thank you to everyone that has supported me and the site over the years.

What a six years it has been! biggrin

COYW!

James Underwood

Nice one James you've provided a truly valuable service with much style over the years. Good luck for the future and am glad to hear you'll still be a regular at the games.

I think a collective could do it, theres enough nouse about but whereas James has been able to commit to it, i am not sure if any one person can with other work, personal and club commitments.

I cannot see that come pre season people wont come together to keep it updated if someone doesnt come forward and want to update it lock stock before then.

Tough boots to fill, hopefully James can be part of the collective still without the pressure of being having to do it all.

Hi James,

Just a big thank you from Sy and myself for all the work you have done for us. I hope whoever takes over from you, will do as good a job as you have done and be as patient with us as you have been.

Well done for all your efforts James, its much appreciated. I'm sure I speak for all Wings fans in hoping that you will continue to video games and or contribute your talents to the website in the future. The website and this forum are both great assests to the club as was proved last November with the loans.

You have given so much time to Welling United during the past 6 years, and provided a website that the fans have been proud of.

A lot of time and skill is required to maintain a website to such a high standard, and you achieved this successfully. Well done James, and it will be great to have your continued support cheering our team on, at our games in the future. All the best.
