Whilst the news that we have a shirt sponsor is good news it does mean that I have been told by the Club that we cannot now sell the replica kits at the Danson Festival as logistically it is not possible to get the logo added before Saturday.

I have spoken with the supplier who will do all he can to get the sponsor's logo printed onto the replica shirts which were to be picked up today by the Charlton psf though this is obviously dependent upon when the logo is available.

Since all the shirts will now bear the sponsor's logo, which had previously been advertised as an optional extra at a small cost should we obtain a sponsor, the price has had to be revised.  The new price for both the adult replica shirts (sizes M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL) and the junior replica kits (sizes S, XS, 2XS, and 3XS) is £32 or £28.80 for WUSA members.

As Chelwing states still good value so don't forget your many ways or ordering ready for the new season: Visit the WUSA stand on Saturday or Sunday at Danson, send Bruno a P.M, visit the club shop on Thursday morning or you could always - wait for it ready for a whosh- PTCS - Phone the club shop.

Shame that this couldn't be done in time for Danson Festival (but understandable) and good news that we have at least got a main sponsor for the coming season.

Will there still be samples of the new kit available for potential buyers to look at over the weekend or does the club/sponsor not want any pictures until the logo has been added?

As for some of the sponsorship money being diverted towards the budget then I think we all know the answer to that question...

I did try this angle at around 10 this morning Wingnut but the supplier didn't have the artwork from which to create the transfer (or whatever its called) and he is now away for the weekend so the simple answer is no there won't be a sample kit.

Based on my conversation with Barry yesterday and the fact that there is to be a formal announcement of the sponsorship prior to the Charlton psf  I would strongly suggest that the club would have vetoed such a course of action anyway.
