How so Kevin? It seems to me that they are allowing themselves the space to change things if Rushden win. If they do I think we can expect a further delay. I don't think there is amuch danger of that though.
I think you are right. They obviously couldn't publish them with the hearing booked as it would be seen as pre-empting the decision. I doubt Rushdon will win but if they do it is hard to see the fixtures coming out for a while.
The fixture list for the 2011/12 season will now be released on Tuesday at 11am as planned, having been put back to Wednesday pending the outcome of Rushdens now cancelled appeal.
Representatives of Diamonds were due to heard to Wembley Stadium on Tuesday to have appeals to both the league and the FA against the decision that was taken at the Conference AGM last month.
In a statement, the league said: The Football Conference has this afternoon been informed by the Football Association that the appeal lodged by Rushden & Diamonds FC against expulsion from membership of the Football Conference has been withdrawn by those representing the club.
The hearing, scheduled for Tuesday, July 5, has now been cancelled and the Football Conference decision to expel Rushden & Diamonds is ratified.
