I was going to keep quiet about this but its nagging me! The site took over from the previous kent site and was pretty good. However i feel its gone downhill editorially. PLUS all we see is send donations, sponsor this, advertise here etc etc. From wanting 12 grand to sponsor the site, he went down to £300 for a banner when no one came forward. NOW hes dropped it to £100 a banner, still no takers.
In My opinion if he made the site look professional and the content better he WOULD get sponsors thats the silly thing. As it stands all we see is him begging for money while the site looks like it was designed by a 2 year old using the 1974 guide to HTML.
Interested in others views on this. I used to visit it daily but lately its once a fortnight and i dont seem to miss much. Is he just in it to make money? Doesnt seemto be marketed very well at all. Surely that stamp collecting site never paid £100 for a banner?

Whilst it is not a site I would have a gander at every day I don't think it is as bad as perhaps your posting implies. As far as I am concerned I want a site where I can quickly and easily find what I want and generally I can do that. The site's presentation is not very pleasing to the eye but I tend to only use the links in the left hand column.
In passing I see from an item on the site that Simon Glover has moved on to Heybridge Swifts.
