15k-20k and a friendly next season and a sell on would be decent i think for all sides. Chance we could get a friendly this season on the 2 dates we have free, that would be ace.

Not sure the up front transfer fee would be that large but we have to insist on a decent sell on clause (15-20%) if/when Jack goes further.

Good luck to the bloke if it does happen. Always had time for the supporters and was first one to nail his colours to the mast at the end of last season.

If Jack does go to Southend I wish him all the very best. Southend was my first ever football game about 48 years ago. Can't remember much about it or even who it was against. At the time had relatives living in Rayleigh. Coincidently both my boys first visit to a league ground was Southend when they lived there.

Agree with JgFc about a friendly. In fact my view is that if any of our players go to league clubs we should ask for a psf as a matter of course.
