He started the game today and by all accounts, had a good one. Let's hope he scores loads and can keep his place when Birchall comes back. Good luck for the season mate.
Kent On Sunday newspaper reports that Birchall has had surgery to repair cruciate ligament damage sustained in the game at PVR but is likely to miss most, if not all, of the season.
This is very bad luck for him but should mean that Keds is likely to get a long run in the side.
I bought Fridays KM whilst in Chatham theres a page on Keds, where he said Adie got him on track (otherwise he would have stayed a kent league player on "pennies") and it was the first time he really started enjoying his football when under Pennock at Welling.
