Should be a good game.

Us Eastbourne have had an indifferent start with lots of injuries and our 1st two games with a patched up team were very underpar but now with a few players back we have won 3-0 away at Dorchester and annialated Bromley 5-0 on tuesday.

Welling is normally a happy hunting ground for us results wise but you have made  a good start as well.

Can see there being loads of goals

I covered your game against Dartford for the local paper and I thought you were very disappointing there. However it seems your results have picked up since so us Wings wont be taking anything for granted.

I think it could be a very tight game......Looking forward to it...not sure I can guess where their team is with regards to this season...coming down can mean two things.....they will be a real force OR they have totally rebuilt

Really hard game Saturday, we will need to be on form and we are getting there now.

I think we will need to be in the zone we were in when we played 6 top 8 clubs last season on the spin. These are no mugs and have hit proper form this week although Hutchinson is out suspended for them.

Our pitch is looking good and if we carry on from where we left off vs Tonbridge and start how we did against Farnborough i would think we can get the win and keep the run going.

We seem to be improving and playing some nice stuff and people are concentrating and we are showing good movement.

As a Welling fan living in Eastbourne, I love days like today!  Ready to hit the road!

Eastbourne made a suprisingly average start to the season but it is simply a case of some young guns taking a few games to settle in.  If they continue to improve from the way they have performed in the last few games they will be up there.

We need to worry about Rory Delap - err, I mean Ross Treleaven.  It would be nice to see Sonny Cobbs get a run out at PVR today, but doubt he's fit enough, or able to budge another left back who scored two on Tuesday.

Very fair comments by Bill. Both teams are trying to find consistent form and a settled line-up. We too have had injury problems but Jamie has sorted things well.

Im looking forward to an entertaining match. So once more with passion we say COYW.

I'm not going to be there today, so if anyone's able to post updates on the forum I'd appreciate it.

Could have been ten their keeper made 2 good saves and we had 2 or 3 we couldnt force home, othere crosses we just failed to get on the end of.

We really did give them a beating. We startd well we had good movement. Cumbers is running his legs off and tracking back well.

Attwood hit the post aswell.

Faz man of match for me but we played well as a team.

Start brightly at thurrock and have good movement and keep it up.

Good performance today even though their keeper apart from the two saves was dropping balls like monty panesar and looked really iffy.

Should have video Intrviews with Jamie Day and Luis Cumbers up in an hour and a half and highlights very late tonight.

Top of the league? we are there on merit but its only a number its a great platform to put pressure on the sides chasing though and its very early in the season, and weve started well and are playing with lots of pace and confidence.

Goals were another world class goal by Pugh as good as any he scored last year. A good shot from Pires and a hard shot from Faz that the keeper seemed to carry over the line as it was hit so hard.
