Sponsor a Goal is a scheme set up for fans to help WUSA raise funds for the team, club and supporters whilst having the interest of tracking how many goals are scored for the Wings throughout the season.
A new campaign will run again this season; the format will be essentially as before and these arrangements are reproduced below for your information.Please sign up if you can and support your team and club; if you are interested, see Ken at any home match at the WUSA table by the club shop.
Regular updates on the running total amount sponsored as goals are scored will be provided throughout the season.
At the start of the following season there is a competition question for you to answer to be entered into the draw to win a prize of £100.
The scheme involves you pledging to sponsor each goal scored for the Wings in league, FA Cup, FA Trophy and Kent Senior Cup matches for a nominated sum - typically 50p or more - and then paying the due amount on designated collection days; this season there will be seven collection dates in order that the payments are not too onerous when they come around!
The planned collection schedule is as follows but may be subject to change depending on cup draws etc:
17 September vs Maidenhead United 29 October vs Salisbury City 07 January vs Truro City 18 February vs Dorchester Town 24 March vs Sutton United 14 April vs Eastleigh 28 April vs Basingstoke Town
