Jamie day is expecting a big crowd for this weeks home tie against second placed Woking. With the Wings and Woking still unbeaten the game will shoe big as it is expected to have an attendance of around 1,500 with the Woking fans bringing 250 on there away travel and possibly 300 more by train.
Either both teams will keep there unbeaten start to the season with a draw on Saturday, if welling win they will be 5points ahead of rivals Woking but if Woking win they will be 1point ahead of the wings. It's a close game. Last time out it was a dull 0-0 draw at wokings ground. Predictions on the forum say that it will be either 1-1 2-1 welling or 3-1 Woking . In all predictions we are predicted not to keep the 2nd clean sheet of the season. So there is only one thing to say in these circumstances. COME ON YOUUU WINGGGSSSSSS

The young fellow is having a go, yes, his reports and grammar are questionable. But he's not trying to be clever and he doesn't go out to offend anybody. He's like the 'new kid on the block' who's out to make his mark.
By posting, he, like the rest of us opens himself up to anyone that wants to give feedback, be it negative or positive and I like reading both.
The important thing for me is not the quality of his postings, but the quality of the support he gives to the club.
(mind you, I did see him at the bus stop outside Thurrock's ground Monday and the temptation was there to run over his toe).
The Real Ale on in the club will again be Trelawny from St Austell as it went very well said Barry. (£2.50 a pint between 1.30pm and 2.30pm) with hot and cold food from £1.50-£2.00 including Rolls, Pies and Chilli and Rice)
Highlights of
Havant V Welling, Farnborough V Welling, Welling v Eastbourne and Thurrock V Welling will be on the big screen from 1.30 ish or just before.

However, what about targeting the opposite end of the spectrum, the Grandad (sorry, and grandma). Most kids would rather go out with their gran parent than their own mum and dad. They get sweets; a drink, a programme and maybe a scarf. Hang on a moment....I wonder if Grandad Trigger will take me on Saturday?
Woking do look good, but we're causing them real problems from set pieces. Both our goals have come from set pieces, they certainly can't handle Martin in the air.

We're the better team so far, but Woking do look good going forward.
Parkinson's playing well and Loui's having a blinder. We got caught napping with their goal - our defence stood still for a second waiting for the offside flag (the Woking player timed his run well and was onside). Thomas had to go out for it as our defence were several yards behind and the Woking player executed the lob perfectly.
We're causing their defence a few problems, especially with set pieces.
What a good game, both teams attacking. Some strange decisions by the referee. Feel exhausted after watching the last 10 minutes or so. This will send out a statement to the rest of the division.
