Maidenhead player stretchered off - Alex Wall. Looks like he twisted his ankle, not exactly sure how.

Deserved lead. Maidenhead came into it last few mins of first half.
If we're still three or more up after 60 mins, I hope they give Sambrook, etc. a run out and give some players a rest before Monday.

Maidenhead 12 just been sent off for dangerous tackle. My view was obscured so the challenge didn't look bad to me, but everyone else in the ground thought it was an awful challenge. The Maidenhead player then spat in someone's face after arguing with the ref again and having to be practically dragged off...

Johnson on for Clarke, who has been booked.

Attwood on for Pires.

Makes sense to bring Attwood on, as he'll try to make something happen, and we've been a bit flat in the second half so far.

Acheampong must be in with a good shout of being MOTM today; he hasn't put a foot wrong.

final score four nil.

Martin looked like he was carrying an injury most of the second half. Let's hope he's fit for Monday.

Excellent team performance, i was a bit peeved that the Gaffer wasnt playing deep down, but he got stick last season or the one before for not playing if we lost, so he deserves a lot of praise the way he continued to back his team after a below par performance at Dorch. They answered the questions that the Dorchester game provided emphatically and bounced back.

Pires is hard to play against, hes brutal this season he just gets up and keeps running and doesnt hide. Was gutted for Luis he never scored one of the chances, his effort today was excellent. Also nice to see Anthony and Faz back to normal today, both with strong performances.

Man of the match is a tough one today as we had good performances but i suppose you would be a bit radio rental if you never gave it to Pughie who never stopped running and got 3 goals, also well done to Dan Thomas who made a couple of fair saves when he had too. Also Jordan who looked good when he came on.

Today is an EXCELLENT result and is even better if we put in the same performance and commitment on Monday.

Video Interviews with Jamie Day and Andy Pugh will be up extremely late tonight, highlights up tomorrow...

Andy Pugh has to get MOTM but I wouldn't like to pick a runner up. All superb today including the management team.

Good ref and linos too although a bit harsh to book Clarke. Also missed a definate hand ball in the penalty area in the first half.

Ref seemed bias towards us. Not complaining as it happens many times the other way.

He has already been booked and i think its a definite 2nd yellow. His actions after being sent off were awful. Pointing and mouthing at the ref then bending over our injured player i didnt see any spitting but it was unsavoury to say the least and best left to the parks on a sunday morning.

Just had a look, tackle was a lunge and missed ball and took out Big Ben deffo a yellow and it didnt look too nice what he did after. Best if thats not shown in highlights on the internet, just move on with the 3 points. You will have to be in the bar before the next game to see the highlights with that in it...

Obviously, with Mr Pugh getting a hat-trick it would be difficult not to give Andy the man of the match award.
For me, I actually thought Joe Healy had a great first half along with Anthony A. With the guys playing on Monday, it looked as though they were concentrating on being injury free and that possibly contributed to the game going a little flat for the second half.
My understanding is that their no.10 has suffered with some ligament damage.

I agree Trig, Joe Healy set up the first two goals superbly and AA was outstanding when Maidenhead came back into it.

Agree with that about Joe Healy , his best performance of the season played very well and his passing was good...and Cumbers also did well, hard pressed to say that any of them had an average game. Lets take it into Monday and continue todays hard work.

The trouble with being the best team in this league is we have the best players.. Thus making it very very hard to pick MOTM each week. Having said that anyone who scores 3 goals in a game and only gave the ball away once (maybe twice) deserves the award

Well done ANDY PUGH!....................10 goals...........No penalties..ehem.

Cumbers was brilliant today, but I just sensed Pughie would get his hat trick his movemnet was so clever, he is a joy to watch that first goal was reminicnase of a goal Messi scored last season brilliant compousre and skill.

Dont underestimate Boreham on Monday we need to be at it from the off again.

Interesting crowd figure. If we take our core home support of around 500 add Maidenhead a very generous 40 we seemed to have about 100 extra. Lets hope this trend continues.
