Really looking forward to this, we should have loads there and have some great support. Great chance to bounce back from a couple of blips away. Weve had a great start to the season and hopefully we can cut out some of the sloppy stuff and show what we can do.
Easy ground to get to if you've never been before, 20 minute walk from Bromley South. I dont subscribe to winning either the League game or cup, we have a quality squad and should be looking to win both. Think its in our hands.

Nope but i believe a 314 passes Hayes lane but you need to get that from Eltham, Think the get to bromley and walk is the best way unless you live in Eltham unless anyone else knows a better way by Bus.

As a saddo who live a couple of miles from the ground - I can confirm the 269 goes to the other end of Bromley. From the centre of Bromley the 314 as mentioned by JGFC passes the ground as does the 119 and the 146. 119 ends up in Croydon if anyone is coming from that direction.

The 269 goes to Bromly North but it's not too far to walk if you go behind the shopping centre.

it's not the most promising start from us. We've had a few attacks, but no clear chances yet. A few of our players don't seem that up for this today. Healy lucky not to be booked. We seem to be lacking confidence going forward and hitting a few long balls.
We are very lucky that Bromley's finishing is poor. They've had three very good scoring chances, including a free header. The players need a rocket from Ashby at half time.
Thomas made a great save, but they scored from the rebound. We have to stop giving away stupid fouls in and around the box! We've been a bit better second half, but still far below our best. This match has been more like a relegation scrap. No quality on show from either side.
We didn't lose, that is the only thing I will remember and take from this game.
When your 1 nil up with 5 to go you are always going to be disappointed that you dont manage to win, but we didn't do enough to win and on another day could have lost. So onto the cup tie for Round 2.

Thought cumbers ran his socks off today , Dan played wll too. We could have been out the game at half time. We set up pretty passive today and hit the long stuff, pitch was a bit bobbly but would think we have the players to play our normal game next week and let them worry about us.
Interviews up with Jamie Day and Luis Cumbers around 9 ish. Highlights will follow.

Only Cumbers and Thomas can come out of this match with any credit. No one else up to scratch.
dont agree at all. dont think ant parky and jordan did anything woring if anything i thought we lookded confortable at the back and lost the battle in the middle of the pitch
Thought we were poor today, Cumbers aside. What I couldn't understand though was why we have Conteh and Tuna if we're not going to make any subs when we're lacking creativity up front and Attwood was having a poor game. Made no sense at all to me
From the interview sounded like Jack O was dropped for Jordan - maybe a polite way of resting Jack and giving Jordan a game? Personally I really liked Jordan in midfield pre-season and when he came on a few games back in midfield, but I would defo have Jack O in over him at left back.
I think the changes definitely changed the balance of the team, whilst I like Jack at the back I would rather have Big Ben at the back and JP in the mid.
Considering the chances Bromley had, I think a point was a fair result, and it stops our run of losses on the road. I hope next week things will progress nicely in the FA Cup.

The defence seemed to be in control, obviously Jordan's new to the left back spot, thus why Bromley were pumping the long ball / goal kicks to that area. Thus you can not say Faz, Parky & AA were not upto scratch.
I believe Clarkey was less effective today not having Jack in the holding centre mid postition giving Lee the freedom

Here Here - Zac was Ok first half, thou does play with head down sometimes. once in first half (left side on half way line) about 20 mins in, if he had a glance, like a good footballer does, would have seen luis cumber had done a great run down the right
A draw is better than a loss, but we do need to stop giving away needless free kicks. Next week we need to be the team that we were a few weeks back - COYW.
