I think you beat me by 10 seconds. My source wasn't Barry.

Think that means the team vs Gills COULD be the ones who need a game with the Academy lads now.

Providing people spread the word the crowd may not be too bad as Charlton are away.

I can see reasons for both clubs wanting to bring the fixture forward.  The original date for the game was February 18 when there must be a chance of games being called off due to the weather which would then have meant a long trip in midweek for Dorchester.  From Welling's point of view, with Salisbury being at home to a lower level club in the Cup, it must be likely that they will get through meaning that our next Saturday home game will be called off.  The Tuesday night Hampton game will probably attract a small crowd so this rearranged fixture will at least keep some money coming into the club's coffers.

A win by 2 goals or more would also put us back on top of the league!

And we now have no home game between 28 January and 3 March...

Hampton are scheduled to be away to Bromley on 29th. Bromley play a lower league side this weekend so there's a fair chance Hampton's trip there will be off and we can then presumably put our game against them back a few days.

Do Dorchester and points on the board go together?

It is possible that ten of the eleven league fixtures on 29th October could be postponed through FA Cup success on Saturday. The fact that one must survive is due to Saturday's fixture Weston-super-Mare v Havant & Waterlooville with both due to play teams eliminated from the FA Cup on 29th (Staines and Farnborough.)

Must save a bundle on the floodlights too.

Alan i think the fee that clubs can charge for floodlights in cup games is about £75 so i dont think the lights cost for a game would be much more than that?
