The Head of Steam in the Station itself maybe best to start off. Who is going to be up there on Saturday? Or at 12 on Sunday Lunch?

Is everyone staying in Huddersfield or venturing further afield?

I did laugh when someone asked of a local pub the supporters coaches can visit, The old bill will meet it off the motorway and escort it straight to the stadium and the old bill will insist the coaches are loaded up after the game. Only hope for these is the stadium bar stays open in the scoreboard end. Independent travellers however will have a free reign Saturday Night, Sunday lunch and after the game.

Greetings from a cold, wet Huddersfield. Dont expect the weather to be nice if ur coming up on Sunday...its NEVER warm in Hudds. Not being funny but the Head of Steam is ok but do be vigilant around the station area, unfortunately Town seem to have a growing number of idiots in the HYC that will look for trouble, especially with 'new' fans.

Best place I reckon the Welling fans can go for a drink is either the Rope Walk at the side of the stadium (great food there), or pop down into town and have a cheap one or two at either the Cherry Tree (Weatherspoons), or the Lloyds Bar!

Hope you all have a great time up here, but don't go home too happy!!!

Yeah! 'The Rope Walk' pub behind the Panasonic Stand (opposite to the away end) is very away fan friendly. It's a very large family pub that does food. Don't be put off by the large que for the bar, it goes down quickly.

Hope to see some Welling fans in here. Have safe journey!
