Sorry for some of the delayed updates towards the end, my phone just couldn't keep up.

I don't envy jgfc trying to get some highlights out of that. Maybe just post the whole 90 minutes.

Well worth getting frozen for.

Great win, but was that the worst set of officials in pvr history?

Brilliant match, had to be there on the day to know the feeling. We now go second above Sutton which I sweet as they lost and em yeah. O and the refs were a disgrace to football yesterday. Two goals that went over the line (both in the same attack) and a dirty goalie wh it took to the 73rd minute to send off other than that fab game. !!

The red card was the only foul he made.apart from diving once?

The officials weren't great and I know it did look like they missed one that was over the line, but I didn't think they were that bad! They got the penalty decisions and the sending off right. I've seen worse this season, but then I've seen better too. They were average for this league - that's not a compliment by the way!

No highlights, DVD available for £50 :P

Ok Ok Ok... there will be highlights but filming tomorrow so probably late tomorrow night, well worth waiting for.... Pires goal was just amazing, you wont see a purer strike anywhere, brutal. Ref was abysmal and usually hes ok, tonight horrible.

Great free kick from Daisy too, there penalty was a farce, they should have had one from a trip by Jack Parkinson i think... ref bottled it seconds later their bloke gets a penalty for im not sure what, IMHO the ref knew he missed jacks tackle and gave it as he missed the previous one... Their red card looked justified , i think they want to appeal it.

Unreal game and their number 12 looked very lively hes gonna rip sides to pieces if they give him any space.

Interviews with Jamie Day and Loick Pires to follow too.

Loick and Daisy must have known theres a goals DVD coming for Christmas... Two crackers and Parkys werent bad too.

Second one looked over to me , first one was off the line i think. Salisbury are a decent team, they dont foul and smash it they try and play football when they can. They will be in the shake up for the play offs if they Keep their guy from hemel hempstead.

Spoke to their gaffer after the game and he is a nice bloke although obviously dissapointed. He comes across well on Whites TV also. Bit like Daisy, young player manager who tries to play entertaining stuff.

Good luck to them this season, thought they would have brought more than the 20 or so they brought though.

Credit to Salisbury, they never gave up even when they went down to 13 men but they never looked like scoring. How we conceded 3 goals is beyond me.

Cracking goal from Pires to clinch 3 points. Probably goal of the season so far.

Dreadful referee, Horrible Harris and the two linos weren't much better. The black guy was the ref when we played Thamesmead pre-season.

Best match of the season in my opinion.  It was a shame there were only 440 there to witness it.

I have to admit that I am not normally Pires' number one fan, but tonight I felt he was man of the match even before he hit that stunning winner.  Well done Loick.

Thrilling game tonight and what a stunner from Pires a goal good enough to win any game. As we move forward though we must, must, must tighten up our defending we are relying on our attackers to compensate for our defensive errors and if we want to challenge this season then our defence must improve. We were the better team tonight but we made it harder for ourselves. Still delighted with the win. COYW!

Dont think it was solotrimini or what ever his name was lino on the new stand side was a shambles today. Crowd slaughtered him and he went to pieces and made some howlers.

While you wait for the highlights here are the two penalty incidents...

For me their penalty was  a poor decision and their guy is going down before Jamie "touches" him, Our penalty looks a pen to me and a red card.

Wasnt going to put these up but Salisbury asked me for a copy of the red card incident as they were considering appealing the red last night and they placed the link on their forum, so until tonights highlights here are a couple of talking points.

Don't see what they've got to appeal about. Just about as clear cut as they come.

Their guy was definately going to ground before Jamie got anywhere near him. Perhaps the ref mistakingly gave it for hand ball seeing as they asked for it. He gave them everything else they asked for.

We HAVE to get the defence sorted out ASAP.....we cannot expect the forwrads to score 3 or 4 each game

Time for a reshuffle methinks

You can see he waves play after the hand ball shout - i think he felt Jamie pulled their man back. Angle of the video means we don't get a view of that. I thought he may have given a penalty earlier in the scramble so he may well have been looking for an excuse to put right his mistake.

Completely agree with that, i thought he wanted to give a pen for Jack Parkinson and their guy coming together (not sure thats a pen either now but looked one last night, not sure Jack touched him before he went down too) then when their guy goes down near Jamie, Harris has given a penalty more for the first one IMHO, second one looks a bit of a dive to me from the angle but very soft.

Looking at our penalty - the red cardwas a tad harsh - there was a defender there as well - if the keeper hadn't brought him down then the defender may have cleared. I can understand why they are unhappy about that decision, but not about the penalty itself.

Stupid rule anyway - penalty is punishment enough. The rule was brought in to stop the "professional foul" - when a player was one on one with the keeper and gets brought down. If it was outside the box then it meant that the defenders could get everyone behind the ball and the advantage was lost. That doesn't happen with a penalty.

When Loick is pulled down hes ahead of the defender so for me a red is correct.

Just about recovered from last night now!

Fantastic game and a goal worthy of winning any game at any level. Loick has become far more consistent of late and we are a much bigger threat as a result of that.

However I think we need to look at the bigger picture. We can't keep relying on the strikers to score three or four times to get three points every week. Second half was like the school playground "next goal wins" scenario as we didn't seem to bother to defend at all?! After the sending off we should have passed them to death and killed the game but we very nearly gave away two points.

The combinations at the back need to be looked at. We have two full backs bombing forward and playing "total football" but leaving the centre halves badly exposed. Faz and Jack O make us a more potent team attack wise but leave us vulnerable at the back and neither centre back covered themselves in glory last night.....

Fantastic win and great entertainment worth of a much wider audience....However BW have won their last six league games and we may not be so fortunate on saturday if we defend like we did last night.

A great win for us - well done all.  As I couldn't make it there last night, I can't wait to see the video.  Also, thanks for the updates Moo.

Not one of their players appeals for it and given they spent almost the entire 90 minutes badgering the officials...
