Partial Transcripts from both interviews. I can't add them to the actual web page so I hope this if fine.
Jamie Day:
It was an entertaining game, end to end. I thought we created enough chances throughout the game to win it. Obviously we are disappointed to concede three sloppy goals from our point of view but overall I think we deserved to win.
Obviously we were disappointed to get it to three all and then straight from the kick off we looked to get the winner and it was a great strike and no keeper could have saved that whether it was the reserve keeper or not.
Weve had a lot of chances in the first half and the same in the second half. I dont think they had more then five shots and scored three goals but at the minute thats the way its going. Luckily were taking our chances and scoring goals as well.
Loick Pires:
I was really really upset that we had conceded and my head was just going I cant believe weve conceded two bad goals. And then the ball came to me and I was just thinking, weve been doing it training, Ive not been hitting the ball cross field enough, so I just thought knock my arm get it across goal and hope for the best.
Its all a bit of a blur when you think about it but I like that one better because this was first time [against] Dorchester I took a touch and then shot it. But Im pleased that it went across because thats the result of a lot of training with the coaching staff.
If we play three, if we play two or one, we all work for each other. And going into the game you know youre going to have chances from the delivery of the wide men and the full backs so its very enjoyable but as much as its is youve still got to defend to.
Im just here to play football, I dont worry about scouts or whatever. Obviously Im a young player and I want to progress but at the moment my hearts with Welling and Im working hard to try and give this club the best I can achieve.
Oh and well done Acheampong for the first invasion of an interview.
