Is it worth bringing along our season tickets for this?

Or is it all pay at the gate? Full price? Who knows?

Anyone?

The Kent cup game against the Gills was full price - no ST's.....

Bargain and with today's draw the boys could do with everyone turning up and supporting them on Tuesday

You must have a different definiton of bargain to the majority of people then! I usually find a bargain is when I pay less for something than I expected to.

Mark

There will no doubt be people who will want to be there and cant be for example work reasons. Similarily there are those that want to be there but simply cant for budgeting reasons. If you cant afford to stump up what could be the best part of twenty notes by the time you add a programme, seating a cup of tea etc you have to prioritise what you are going to do.

Maybe the people on a limited budget would rather watch a league game than a Ryman One side-no disrespect to Thamesmead intended

The added point is this one.......firstly I agree with you ref extra miney...not all can do it BUT the question was...is it £12.......If it had been reduced to say £9 would that have made a difference - I think not to those that feel that they should pay less for these games and not those that cant afford it at all

I am not sure £2 or £ would make a whole lot of difference

boys could really do with the support and am busy this week so the highlights will probably be online thurs night or friday, so get down to pvr and roar the boys on we have a chance of glory this year.... beat two ryman 1 teams and we are in the last 32 i think. this isnt the london senior cup, its the fa trophy, non leagues fa cup...

we could be at home to one of the big conf sides in round 2 if we play our proper game or get another decent draw, plus the money will be huge for the club.

if we cant get up for it how can you expect the players to get up for games.

COYW

Accepted-but the additional point is that the difference between us and say admission at Charlton is now not that far apart. Perhaps people dont want to pay what they see as full price to watch a lower ranked club

Toatally agree that the players deserve all the support they can get

Mark

I "get" cup games and dragged my daughter to Thamesmead but I'm afaid I cannot be there on Tuesday. Please accept my apologies. For the record had I been unable to attend I would have paid £12 without so much as a trace of a grimace on my face.

Kind regards

Andrew

Who we are playing is beside the point, it's an FA Trophy game being played by our first team. Why should the admission price be any different just because it's a team from a lower league?

because you have a "lesser" team who people arent particularly interested in watching so you lower your prices so that more people are inclined to turn up

why if we ever got to the 1st round of the fa cup again against a league team it would be sensible to have the ticket cost lowered so more people turn up for the game as if an agreed price of entry is considered too much for lowly Welling then people will stay away

If we drew a league side at home in the Cup then I reckon the prices would go up rather than down?

As regards tonight, I doubt any of us want to pay £ 12 to be honest but , if that is our normal admission prices then so be it - I don't think we are allowed to change it? However we could have charged less for KSC against Gillingham reserves - both Maidstone and Bromley lowered their prices considerably for KSC games this season.

I fully understand if people have to pick and choose games then tonight is one they might opt out of.

A home draw - what's one of those?

I would also hope that if we were to play a league side away we would not consent to the prices being lowered by much.

It is always to the benefit of the home club to lower the prices (as long as the increased attendance covers the drop in price) because it is only the gate money which is split. More people in the ground means more spent on programmes, food and at the bar and the home side keeps all of that.

Only one or two ex league clubs Mark. Kettering is only £12 and most are £14/£15.

Word from the ground is the home game against Havant next Tuesday is off due to Havant having a Hampshire Senior cup game on the same day.

Havants site confirms this, they're playing Blackfield and Langley.

They have our fixture down as TBA.

I didn't think those Mickey Mouse cups took priority over league games. FA Cup and Trophy yes but not anything else.
