Havants site confirms this, they're playing Blackfield and Langley.

They have our fixture down as TBA.

I didn't think those Mickey Mouse cups took priority over league games. FA Cup and Trophy yes but not anything else.

Afraid Alan that all county cups take priority over league. However some county F.A's are prepared to assist clubs with fixtures. I remember being told last year that Kent are happy to help but London are stick in the mud fuddy duddys who beliecve their matches are the bees knees.

Happy to have got through last night and banked a few quid into the bargain with a very winnablr game to come.

However getting more and more concerned with our defending, or rather, lack of it. It looked like the centre halves had never met each other for most of the first half and our keeper gives me kittens sometimes with his (lack of) decision making so god knows what it does to the back four.

Of course we score goals for fun with the forwards that we have but we can't rely on them to score three every week for us to win a game. A Ryman North side has just scored three times in two games against us which is simply not good enough.

Agree about the defending last night, but the player who makes the team tick is Joe Healy ,absent last night does anybody know why.

You related to him or something. Has been off colour lately though impressed with his workrate defensively against Boreham I think it was.

Very good that Jg - did make me chuckle...:hilarious:

I think he will have a field day playing that part.

Well looking forward to that game!

Our play off hopes faded when he had his business trip last season and he is a vital cog in our midfield this season. It's part of football that we all see the same game so differently and I don't think you have to be related to someone to appreciate his efforts.

I dont think Joe has been quite as good as last season yet but theres no doubt when he has a run in a side and hits form hes a fantastic player and he will click soon. Hes by no means been poor at all and has been good in games, just hasnt been as sparkling as last season in my opinion where he was one of the best players through the season. Clarkey is starting to fire now after he admitted he hadnt been as consistent as previously. If we are 2nd with some players not on fire, just shows we have lots more to come.

Bubbles is correct , when Joe is his usual clever self he gets us purring and he will do shortly, keep the faith. Class is permenant.

So what do we have here? Goalkeeper doesn't shout enough, two Centre Halves don't know each other, Healy is off colour, Clarke is inconsistent and others have their form questioned on the terraces???

We will be world beaters when we start to play well !!!!!

Not doing bad are they... 2nd in the League, still in FA Trophy and KSC. We come through the minor wobble we had and are doing good i think.

There are certainly four regulars (no point in mentioning names) who would probably admit that they are not playing as well as they did last season.  Nevertheless overall the side looks better and the squad is definitely stronger.

If these players can hit top form and the remainder continue to play as they have been, I feel confident that we'll be battling it out with Woking for the title at the end of the season.

Well said Greendale,we are stronger and can turn games around as recent games times of scoring shows.

For me we are having a quality season so far, Wings are flying and we are exciting to watch.

True football fans of our opposition enjoy our football, I have a sneeky feeling Welling United are admired throughout by players and supporters of BSBS.

I cant wait for Saturday and the next games taking us into the new year.

I will be at Tonbridge but will arrive after kick off so give a loud shout for me till I get there lads.

Really looking forward to seeing strong support for this one.

I started it I suppose but see you've replied with interest. Perhaps it's time for you to get over yourself.
