The first part of a double-header against the Darts, beat them 2-1 at home last year, lets hope we can do the same again. Always been rivalry between these two clubs, Stewards may need to keep a close eye out again because of a bloke falling on the pitch last time when they scored from their penalty.

3 crutial points for us to clinch as Woking will need to slip up again and we will have to be there to dominate. Woking slipped up at thurrock on saturday but we could take advantage as we slipped away. We had good attacking formation against Sutton and I suggest that we do that again but we will need to draumatically change our defence and leave Thomas out for a bit as he is costing us but the stats dont matter. It how you perform on the day, Keep that in mind

Ok so which of the 5ft 16 year olds would you put in goal to replace Dan whos been in the side thats 2nd in the league? Sidebe or Moore from the youth team? I think myself we should bring in Evra, Vidic, Gallas and Glen Johnson for the xmas games too, then just play like barca in midfield and have more shots than spurs from the strikers.

Jesus we are second in the league and you want to get rid of the keeper and the defence haha. Behave, just needs a bit of manning up and people taking reponsibility and doing teh simple things.

Whilst Dan will no doubt be disappointed with a couple of goals scored against him you've got to look at what happened in front of him before many of the goals we have conceded. True he could be more vocal but he is still young and that will no doubt that will come with confidence earned through experience.

For the free kick athough Dan should have tipped it over the bar, the players were slow to react the looping ball so not all his fault.

Considering Mitten was let go for things including poor communication, to give Thomas the role and then him not be able to communicate either is a little bizarre .... and he'll struggle to communicate well from 100s of miles away if its true he isnt training with the club ... doesnt aid morale or the back five working as a unit .... never heard anything so naive since ex-England right back Parker thought training at Goals was the best bet.

very very easy to blame the goalkeeper........be secure in front and it wouldnt happen

Too many needless free kicks
too many errors marking at corners

BUT GUYS

We are SECOND..........where we were a few years back or indeed last year....this is a fabulous season...keep the faith

Any criticism of Mitten as a player as an excuse for letting him ago is just that, an excuse, in my opinion.

Do the double over d*rtford and 2 clean sheets. That's positive they got two very fortunate goals last season and were lucky to get the point they did.

If the clubs organistation for this game is anything like as bad as last year J I doubt you'll have to wait until the new year to have a moan!

With a proposed tube strike on Boxing day it looks like Arsenal and Chelsea may call off their games. It will be important that we attract as many of these people to our place for their Boxing Day football - many will be glad to get out of the house.

Massive crowd expected as long as it's not pi$$ing down with rain or snowing.

Therefore, to avoid a repeat of last years fiasco, the club needs to ensure that all turnstiles are open to ease the congestion on PVR. Also, is the Erith bar going to be open for the match? Think of the money the club could make if this was the case.

Hardly a fiasco i couldnt get a burger or a drink at the return and the crowd was less wasnt it? However, i think the fact the club have been selling advance tickets should help. Cant do much abiut the rain squire. Get there early and cheer the wings on to a win.

Keep hearing that all turnstiles will be open and another burger van will be on the New Stand side.

On a lighter note love the avatar JgFc can it be hired for away travel?

If you look really close you can see the Dartford FC badge, so sorry but it's already spoken for :D

Can't remember a fiasco at the last Dartford home game. I got there nice and early, bought my match programme and a cup of tea and a burger, sat in the old stand and enjoyed the match :) Fiasco?

I would imagine if people get there about 45 mins before kick off they will get in fairly quickly and get a drink before hand. People need to remember though, that only the Wings bar is run by Welling... the Food Van is a franchise as i would expect others to be if they are there on Boxing Day and the Erith Bar also is not Welling run.

Hopefully the club will do some food and have an offer to get people into our Bar on the day. Not sure if the big screen projector is working yet ,it must have been out of action for 2 months?? I know Gary tried to get it sorted off his own back and took it in somewhere and they were having issues repairing it or couldnt repair it, but when they are only £150-£160 on ebay it may be prudent to bite the bullet and get one new.

I am expecting a crowd of about 2200 on Boxing day with at least 400 from D*rtford.

But they went very close late on at PVR last year but it would have been a terrible shame if they'd brought anything home with them given the way we played.

4 points (same as last year) over the festive period and you'll have no complaints from me.

I agree 4 points would be reasonable but im hopeful that we can take the 6 points off them. Wont be easy as they are probably a better team this season and Tony Burman has done very well, especially given theres been no money spent on replacing Sheringham or from the Cody sell on. Lets hope its a fantastic game and advert for both clubs and that the return is the same.

Could you please give honest opinions, for this away match im going to do some images and put them on the forum like dave does with his images. Would you be happy with me doing this and could i have feedback on them. If it turns out well i might make this a regular thing like Dave. First to five wins.

You need a licence to take photos at Grounds. You need public liability insurance and probably accident cover. So i wouldnt bother if i were you.

They wouldnt let you, a few clubs might if you email in advance. Try emailing Dartford FC for the attention of Nic and see if she will let you. You can only try. I wouldnt just turn up and snap away though as there are regulations etc.

their email addy should be on their website.

you will have to email them, depends if they can include you on their insurance. Its a league rule about the photos, so any club that says no is not being horrible.

Barry Ashby's comment that he is optimistic that we will be at full strength for this game suggests that the whole squad should be fit and available.  If so, it will be very interesting to see which team and formation Jamie goes for.

If Faz is fully fit again you would expect him to come back into the side but would he be restored to right back where he has done very well or would Jack Evans or Andy Sambrook be preferred there?  Strange that a few games ago we had no one to play right back now there couild be three players available.  My guess is that Faz would play further forward.  Secondly who will he play in the problem central defence positions with Sambrook, Parkinson, Acheampong and Martin all possibles.  With a new keeper playing who has not played a match with any of them before, this is an important choice.

If Faz and Parky both play in midfield, who will be left out? and who will play on the left?  Luis Cumbers had probably his best game of the season at Sutton playing further forward and would be very unlucky to be left out for this game.  However if neither Pires or Healy makes the side there appears to be no one who naturally plays wide left.

Some interesting dilemmas for Jamie but whoever he picks it looks as though our bench will be the strongest it has been all season.
