Just seen that on the 14th January we have a tie at Weston-S-Mare. Its only a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive so im asking the boys, would it be acceptable if i ask should we try to do an away travel coach for this tie.

The travel is putting many of of it but could be good many would come if we leave early aswell for a day out at it. Leave at like 8:30 or 9 from PVR and get to weston by around 11:30. Couple of hours at the beach then go to game, 'round 6 get the coach back, be in welling by 9. How about this then. Want honest thoughts and if yes who would want the privallige to try and arrange one or will i have to do it again :)

The usual suspects will take the train, and that makes the idea of running a coach a non-starter for cost reasons I suspect

Nice thought but a major problem. Weston beach? In January?

As Russ has mentioned previously the cost of coaches for away travel are prohibitive unless you can guarantee virtually all seats sold. As Kevin said most of the regulars will be travelling by train and I suspect the lure of WSM mid January is not great for the more casual fan. WSM last away game of the season would perhaps be a different matter.

Just my view. Sorry!

No-one is having a go at you, and you did ask for honest opinions, its just that a lot of people either a) will go by train, or b) wont go. Unless you can find 50 people to go by coach, which is doubtful, it just isn't worth it.

It has long been a problem that people prefer to travel by alternative means and coach to away games has not been popular. Don't take it personally.
