They came at us hard early at their place. I am looking for us to do that to them, The pace of Cumbers and McBean and the movement in midfield should make this possible and catch them cold.
Important game this, its time to man up and get the wins going again not a great december and important we start believing in ourselves and started bullying teams and putting the chances away.
This starts on Saturday.

Hope Daysie sticks up the local press cuttings on the dressing room wall in which White Tigers boss Lee Hodges said Welling were not the best team to visit Treyew Road in November.
Apart from a poorly defended corner early on, it's been all us so far. Day also looks like he's in a more advanced position, helping out Cumbers when the ball is played forward.
Penalty was for Cumbers being brought down by their keeper a few yards out. Keeper only got a yellow card, despite it being a clear goalscoring opportunity - odd decision.
Great result, if it wasn't for the lineman's flag we would have had 10 :o)
Woking and Chelmo both lost too.

Which linesman? Are you talking about that fat little **** that was technically running up and down near the old stand? He was inept beyond belief. I noticed the fanzine crew giving him a really hard time.
As for us, thats the way we can play and we did it without Pughie, Cracknell gives us legs and goals and the movement of Day, Healy, Cumbers was tremendous, Stella and Evans were superb at full back, they couldnt handle us. Clarkey got stuck in and what balls he has to step up and hammer the penalty home.
Parkinson is a lunatic, thats twice hes played with a fracture and put the team first, hes been superb of late and just gets on with it, hes immense. Captain fantastic.
When you have 6 or 7 players on their top form you get the football we saw today. Cumbers ran his arse off and took his goal superbly hes hitting form and lookslike he can be the goal scorer and then we still have Loick and Wazza. Excellent today from 1-11 and Big Ben is into more of his usual form lately and thats two solid as a rock performances from Sammy in midfield. Keeper did a job today and you can tell hes solid.
Dolby showed signs of what he can do and that he has his nut down to get back into his last spells form, great to see faz back and Tam looked lively. If ive missed anyone out then they played very well aswell. Great TEAM performance, confident, loads of effort and BELIEF.
We will need to be good on Saturday as Weston scored for fun today.
Interviews up later with Jamie Day and Dean Cracknell and match highlights to follow over next 24 hours.
Credit to Truro fans today they were excellent.

Yes the Truro fans were good today and entertaining to, especially when they referred to us as 'dirty northern bastards' :D First time anyone has called us that I think :)
An excellent posting and it was good to see that you thanked the team, but was that enough?

I too thought that was a quality shout as well. Very funny!

My dear Lord Trigger, Should you not include Matron as part of the team as she allowed you to attend and spur on the players to victory?
We're trying to keep this topic on a more intellectual level, your comment does not reflect the serious nature of the conversation. Thanking Matron.....how silly.
As has been said, an excellent team performance today with particular congratulations to Cumbers, Obersteller and Martin who were all outstanding.
The ref had a pretty good game today and was consistent even though both the Truro keeper and Jack Evans should probably have had reds instead of yellows for denying goalscoring opportunities. I will not comment on his interpretation of the offside law of one of the linesmen. I think one or two suitable adjectives have already been used by others.
I would add my congratulations to Truro's marvellous supporters for the way they kept behind their team all the time even when they were 5-0 down. I wonder how many miles they will have travelled to support their side by the end of this season.

From one of the fanzine crew, yes he got a hard time, but solely because of the abuse he took from their players and did nothing about. As I've written countless times before, why should the FA expect me to respect an official when he doesn't respect himself. He was reminded of this on several occasions and finally grew a pair after the award of our penalty - how's that not a goalscoring opportunity when the ball ends up in the net? - and put his flag up to draw the referee's attention to their manager's (no. 6) dissent. Most amusingly the 9 then got involved, claiming the lino only put his flag up because of the pressure from the crowd! I don't know if the camera caught it but watch out for his reaction after the penalty hits the net. It's also quite special after the second goal, too!
However, that lino was nothing compared to the **** in the second half. Some of his offside decision were ridiculous but that's what you get when you pressure the officials. It's clearly coached into players by almost every team we face yet we don't do it and it has cost us dearly recently - imagine the Healy/Champion challenge at PVR had all 10 of our players and half or our bench charged in a la the Lions 99 call...
To score four with him protecting their back four was impressive and as has been mentioned before, without him it would have been 10.
Agree with everything you said Russ. I can't help complaining about the standard of the referees and linesmen at this level, even though it seems kind of pointless, as they are pretty much this bad every week. There was one occasion in the first half when a ball came off a Truro defender and Cumbers (I think) ran into space with the ball and the weeble wobble decided to raise his flag for offside, which quite clearly it wasn't. Oh we could all come up with lots of examples of bad decisions.

Its a Plymonth Arygle thing ( heard it in game against Southend)
The one on the erith side came on pitch after game and after saying the pitch on his side had holes in it... went on to say all his decisions were correct. He didnt say it in an arsey way, he discussed a few of the incidents and said why he felt they were offside.
I thought the main stand lino was awful yesterday and gave some stupid decisions against us and both linos gave some bad offside decisions and were fooled by our pace and truro appealing for everything. The ref wasnt great but at least he booked their players for mouth although he let their 4 applaud him and the 9 buy a penalty and give dissent then kick the ball away blatantly. I personally felt neither were penalties.

According to one of the ground hoppers who was chatting in the shop before the game the ref is supposed to be on the FA fast track. This chap also said seeing the refs performance at other grounds we could expect lots of bookings. Can only assume our ground hopper got his facts wrong. However I am wondering if this Mr. Coggins is related to the other ref of the same name?
The only fast tracking that bloke should have is out the door.
He was OK at times but got a few vital decisions totally wrong. Goalkeeper should have been off no question. How was it not a goal scoring opportunity when the ball ends up in the net?
I suppose he could argue that because it went in the net it wasn't denied.
Guy kicks the ball away in disgust and doesn't get booked. Blatant disregard for the rules.
Lino's were reacting to Truro hands going up. I would say at least 50% of their calls were wrong.
