I think over the last few years Chelmsford have been one of the best sides to come to PVR. Let's hope they have an off day on Saturday.

You could be right. May the better team win. But if you do win it will be our first away defeat since March 08 2011, an unbeaten run of 17 games....

Welcome back Mr Foster - how we have missed you.

It will be an interesting game without the above mentioned players - it could give you a chance of getting a point.

Not a very good chance though.

Should be quite a game.

It is interesting that if you could combine Welling's home record with Chelmsford's away record, "Welling and Chelmsford United" would be two points clear of Woking with a game in hand.

Half time one all.
We've had more possession than them but if you let the other team have a free header from a corner, you can't expect to be winning.
Ref has been ok.

Think Jamie needs to get the right balance in midfield , think Dean Cracknell should have played today

But great battling out there with just 10 men for such a long time in the 2nd half

just had a quick look on camera at daisys tackle, looked a terrible decision/

Barry Ashby and John Whitehouse interviews up later and highlights will follow over the next 24 hours or so probably.

Thought we were the better side even with ten men, they had a couple of chances late but we should have been 2-1 up then. settle for a point. Fancy our chances at their place on what i saw today.

Would like to think we can get the red card overturned, Dover got a red card from a challenge overturned earlier in the season.

Day red card.
Right in front of me. One-footed challenge, but at ankle height with studs showing, so I think a red is fair.

ref is not being consistent now. evans was booked earlier for pulling someone back, but when the Chelmsford 7 did a worse pull back just now there was no card.

Cumbers just missed an absolute sitter to put us in the lead. He scuffed it wide.

Chelmsford missed their own relatively easy chance there. A free header put wide.

Starting to look quite good for the play offs now.  No winners from Sutton, Weston, Dover or Basingstoke.

Shame about Cumbers' miss.  That apart, I thought he had a fine game.  Can't decide between Faz and Ben Martin as MOTM today.

100% Moo i couldnt believe that. And when he never booked Modeste when he gestured he made a meal when going down i will never know. Very weak ref seemed to just let Chelmo ref the game and imo panicked when Day tackled their guy and was heavily influenced by chelmos bench and never thought about the incident. There was an assessor there today i think.

Do believe that Clarkey is coming to form now-by his own recognition he didnt start well but his touch today and for last weeks goal have been excellent. With Jack's and Daisy's potential suspensions he is a lynchpin in midlfield.

Good team man always acknowledges the crowd as well-time to step up to the plate and be instrumental in us moving forward

I don't think anyone could accuse Clarkey of shying away from the plate!

Good interview with Ben Greenhalgh in programme, he seems happy to be at Welling and said they are giving it a couple of months then will sit down and sort something out, said he isnt just going to say to Jamie "i'm off" next week.

When hes fit after a few training sessions and some minutes he is going to do some damage. Seems a sensible lad and coming back "home" is a good choice by him.

It happened just in front of me and it was the same single footed challenge that Daisy did to Rainford. He got the ball and their No. 10 and the Chelmo bench made so much of it. After a few minutes, the 10 got up like nothing had happened - they all played to the ref who was influenced by them all. Shame Pennyfarthing wasn't sent to the stands for his attitude.
